Today I baked 6 layers of red velvet cake, from scratch. There are two 6" layers, two 8" layers, and two 20" layers. DD is getting married on Saturday and I am making the cake! There will be 3 tiers, each with two layers. BIG baking day, kitchen is clean, and I am tired- but I still need to wrap and freeze everything; sure hope I can make space in the freezer!
