What did we think of TEEN MOM 2?

I thought Kailyn acted horrible! She needs therapy and not with Dr. Drew. She still loves Joe and is using poor Javi for benefits. She talks about her mother but I think she is alot like her. I don't see her marriage lasting long. I worry about domestic violence against Javi. I thought Dr. Drew was way to easy on her. He should never have apologized to her. She owed Joe's girlfriend and DR. Drew an apology. She needs to grow up.

I agree. She was quite disrespectful of him and refused to be even the least bit open minded. Jo's girlfriend looked like she was at least trying and has a good head on her shoulders. I understand the online pics happened about two years ago and could be something she really regrets. I wouldn't hold that against her. I hope Kailyn realizes that she acted like an idiot and gets some therapy. Poor Javi :sad2:

While I think Dr. Drew did confront Kailynn with some tough not "cushy" questions, I thought he treated Jenelle waaaaaayyyyy too softly. I mean for god sake she was a heroin addict and wonders why her mom wouldn't trust her with Jace???? OMG...I was waiting for Drew to at least look at her, reiterate the situation and ask her if she understood why. While I think that would still have been a nice way to approach it, he didn't even do that! I was really disappointed in the egg-shell walking he was doing with Jenelle, and thought it was odd that he was so different with Kailynn. While I may not agree with everything Kail does and thinks, she is a decent mother and takes care of her son and certainly doesn't think that she as a mother should be shooting up heroin.

Also, I don't think Barbara was necessarily saying that Jenelle could have Jace Thursday-Sun., but more that she has offered that she could take him any "one" of those days. I think Dr. Drew kinda made it seem different when he said it though. I couldn't believe Jenelle started crying and complaining that there was some kind of problem with her taking him one of those days and that she was mad that it was only because that was what was convenient for her mom. OMG, I could have reached through and smacked her, and yet again Drew did/said nothing to smack the complete idiotic nonsense that was coming out of her mouth.

I totally agree with you!! I couldn't believe when Jenelle started crying about having a room ready for Jace, but Barbara wouldn't let him come visit, and I thought for sure Dr. Drew would jump on that. "She won't let him come visit because she doesn't know that you won't get high, have scum like Kieffer coming around, or have used needles/heroin all around the house." Instead he was making it seem like a verbal contract and Jenelle should try to make Barbara "stick with it." :scared1: Are you kidding me?!? The only thing Jenelle knows how to do right is to cry and blame all of her problems on everyone and everything else BUT her. She is really delusional if she thinks she is EVER getting custody of Jace back. Not unless she does a complete 180, and for longer than a month. I love how she is always touting being sober, but then we see her actually getting high on TV for crying out loud, and reading about her drug and domestic violence problems in the news. Does she REALLY think she is fooling anyone?! I think she does, and therein lies the problem. Like I said. Delusional.

Dr. Drew needed to be totally opposite on that show. He was SO confrontational with Kailyn and treated Jenelle with kid gloves. Yes, Kailyn does need to be confronted on her over the top hatred of Vee, but at the same time, I get that she is just fiercely protective of Isaac. I can sympathize with that. But he was so rough with her and so "aww, it will be okay" with Jenelle. Don't get it. :confused3

Dr. Drew needs to be replaced. Who is he helping?? Not Jenelle or Amber. I don't know what purpose he serves. Dr. Phil would be a step up. At least he would not minimize the problems Jenelle has. Jace being the least. She needs to get help and leave her son alone. It's very sad to watch. Dr. Drew did a horrible job. As far as Kailyn, Dr. Phil would not have tolerated her childish behavior. She should have been put in her place. She is a very disrespectful girl who is using her son to get back at Joe. I liked her in the beginning but not anymore. The real Kailyn showed up.

anyone watch last night?

I'm not surprised Chelsea didn't finish school.

I'm not surprised Kail still thinks she can do whatever she wants.

I'm not surprised Jenelle is still fighting with her mom.

I'm not surprised Leah is still blabbering to Corey about how they tried.

LOL. and yet i can't stop watching.

I agree with all of the above. I'm also still conflicted about Kailyn. I felt very strongly that she did not have feelings for Javi and was just using him for financial security and health benefits for her and Issac. She shows next to no affection towards him, and didn't appear upset with the concept of him leaving for so long. Based on what we saw last night and in the previews, I'm starting to wonder if she has grown feelings for him or is just in love with the idea of being married.

Did Kailyn say Joe was fat last night....and her response to his was I have excuse I'm pregnant. I think something is off with Javi too.

I thought I read a while back that Jenelle did get married to this guy but he beat her and she lost the baby. Here she is having an abortion. :confused3

I knew Chelsea dropped out of hairstyling from last season they were on. Her hair is still a hot mess at least it isn't blonde anymore. Not sure why she was making a big deal out of Aubrey knowing about the baby. If she really isn't around her father it won't be a big deal this is your sister , when she is older explain what half sister means.

These girls really worry about there exes and what they are doing. When Cory came over for the girls I thought stop all the talking of we could have made it together. Your both married to other people get over it already.

I see it kind of differently. Seems like Kailyn never had much 'love' in her life and I just don't think she understands love and affection. She has been on her own for so long at such a young age that she probably feels she can only rely on herself.

Why are they bringing these girls back? Instead of probably feeling like they are "celebrities" (and making money from MTV!!) they should learn to live in the real world. Oh no - that is another show!

I agree. While I certainly don't agree with everything she does or says, I think she really does have good intentions and really wants to be a real parent for Isaac, which is kinda impressive, given the fact that she never had one, and her whole situation of being a teen mom with no support to begin with. I also think it's great that it looks like she did whatever she needed to to become a dental assistant and honestly I hope the judge does allow them to move to Delaware. Really, I think it is what is best for Isaac, and it's only 3 hours away, it's not across the country. In reality, this is just what happens when you have divorced parents...or at least it's not that uncommon. Not to mention the fact that didn't Joe move to New Jersey or New York for a while a season or two ago?

It also still appears that Joe's not doing much with his life.

I was actually surprised by how Chelsea didn't really annoy me last night and how I really felt like she had very valid, non-selfish, not about herself concerns. I think all of the concerns she brought up regarding Adam and Aubry's soon to be half-sister were pretty valid, and honestly I could envision myself feeling and saying those same things and having those same concerns about my own children, if their father was someone like Adam.

And boy, Adam certainly hasn't changed, he's such a loser and such a sorry piece of crap. I loved how he attempted to explain the legal system to Chelsea. :rotfl: He's such a joke. I don't really think Chelsea would even mind so much (minus the fact that Adam's such a loser and irresponsible) if he ever did get some kind of planned out visitation with Aubry (it seems that she still arranged for Aubry to see his parents while he was in jail). I think ideally she does want Adam to be a good Dad and she understands that part of being a good Dad is seeing Aubry on a consistent basis. I think Adam on the other hand is scared or doesn't want the responsibility of having Aubry on a consistent basis.

Jennelle, still a complete train wreck mess and as I've stated from the beginning Jace is going to end up in juvenile detention at a very young age. You could really see the signs last night. Absolutely no consistency or decent parenting by either Jennelle nor Barbara and then when you saw him with the cats. That poor kid has absolutely no chance and as sad as it is I'm sure someone is going to end up being a victim of his what is sure to be violent tendencies within the next 15 years of his life. I know it sounds so horrible to say that, but that is all I could think of last night watching him. He so needs to be taken out of that hostile environment and given to parents who can actually help him and give him the best potential of not being a criminal in his future, but unfortunately that's never going to happen.

Leah, while I still think the relationship between her and Corey is a bit odd, I do think it's great and honestly shows a good amount of maturity in how both of them are able to nicely communicate and be happy for each other and talk about the other parent in front of their kids without animosity or anger. I was so sorry to hear about Alli's diagnosis, but I have to say, out of all of the mom's/families on this show, they are probably the best equip to handle it.

What was Alli's diagnosis? I missed that part.

Haven't watched the new episode yet, but am looking forward to sitting down tonight and watching it. It's a guilty pleasure. It makes my husband and I look at one another and say, 'ya know, our lives aren't that bad ...' I've followed these moms closely because Leah is from my home town of Elkview. Not a place many people have ever heard of. :rotfl2:

I partially agree with this, but honestly, there is no doubt that she can't be manipulative and wanted those benefits.

She married him, was pregnant then miscarried. Then got pregnant again, had an abortion and is now pregnant with her new boyfriend Nathan's baby but still married to Courtland. :rolleyes1

After this episode I'm not sure I can watch anymore and it's largely due to Janelle. I am absolutely sickened by the fact that she gets an abortion, then previews show that she gets pregnant again with another loser because they want to have a baby??!!!?? Seriously, MTV. You need to stop letting this girl be another fake reality TV celebrity and let her wallow in her own crap until she either ends up in jail again or gets her act together. The LAST thing she needs is more attention. I hate her for what she has done to her son, and worse... The depressing future that inevitably awaits him. Jace should be put in a kind, loving home that doesn't scream the "F" word every 5 seconds and Janelle should be left to her own devices. No common sense there at ALL.

I love this show. It's my guilty pleasure, along with Dance Moms.

Janelle is a train wreck, as usual. I can't believe her mother Barbara continues to put up with the constant verbal abuse and drama. But then again, Barbara is one of my favorite characters on the show...I think she could have the whole show dedicated to her!

Kailyn's story is strange. I agree that her interaction with Javi is strange, and it certainly seems like she didn't really plan anything out long-term. She knew Joe would freak if they tried to move out of state, yet she know Javi would be stationed elsewhere....so yeah, go ahead and get pregnant with another kid. ?!?! And potentially live as a split family?
Is she still in school or did she drop out?

Chelsea's segments are boring to me. It's the same stuff over and over. Whining about Adam, quitting school, taking a break, starting new school, moving to a new house (how many times has this girl moved since the show started?!?!) But I'm so glad she got rid of the blonde hair. Ugh - NOT attractive. Did anyone else notice her friend in the episode the other night - hello too much spray tan. She looked like a circus freak!

Leah ~ I enjoy watching the drama with her. I wish her and Corey could have stuck it out. I think they were both just too immature. I hope his new marriage works out. I can't believe Leah went ahead and had yet another child right away, despite being so young and having a child with special needs. That is going to be tough. She's got more courage than I have apparently!
