I think of that everytime I'm out of the stuff and my clothes aren't as soft or as April Fresh smelling.:teeth:

I am so april fresh smelling, I think it is in to my skin now

same thing when we didn't have hair conditioner, walked around with a fuzzy feeling and our hair sticking up. when didn't we have fabric softner?

I'm not sure when fabric softener was invented, Lewski709. I can live without conditioner more than I can fabric softener though. I don't use conditioner too often, it makes my hair look too drab (I've got baby fine, but thick hair).:)

I tried to find out when it was invented, no luck.

Me too...fine hair, but lots of it. I hate hearing that. My hair is flat as a pancake no matter the style. It's weighty anyway. I condition once every couple weeks. Thats about it.

I don't use fabric softener, I'm allergic to it, I itch everywhere if I use it.

We used vinegar. It makes things soft and will take out bad smells, but doesn't make it April fresh! It doesn't help with static cling either, but it was a start! :teeth:

We walked around in scratchy clothes. Especially if they were dried on the clothesline. :earseek:

Hi,

No fabric softner here either. I stopped using it after I read it reduces absorbency in towels. Sometimes I use white vinegar becaause it helps rinse soap out well.
