What did I do wrong?

Yesterday was my day to book ADR's for my late December trip. I could not get a Fantasmic package for Jan. 1st. Everything was booked. When were people able to book them? Is there a different window for booking Fantamic packages?

People staying onsite can book their entire trip - up to 10 days - at the 180 day mark, as you mostly likely know. Sounds like people checking in as early as 12/22 have filled up the FDP spots. I am sure that is a very busy day!

Keep trying though. Since that is a credit card held reservation, people canceling WILL call to let Disney know.

I would keep trying! I was able to book a Fantasmic dinner at H&V for NYE at about 7:30 this morning, and the CM gave me several times to chose from. The 180-day window for Jan.1 is July 5th. I bet that they will open up more times on that morning!

I think what happened was that all the people who are going the same week as you had already booked it up by using the 180 plus 10 day rule.

Basically, they call 180 days from the day they check in and are able to make ADR's for the rest of their trip (or the next 10 days at least) and they probably booked up Jan. 1st. Keep calling. Someone may cancel.

OK, thanks for the encouragement. That's great news about you getting H&V, TinkOhio, that's the one we wantfor the first. I did book dinner there for that night without the package, so in a way, I'm OK. I understand about the 180+ 10, yesterday was my first day for that. I guess I didn't call early enough in the day.

Theyre also changing the dining system so all availability may not be released. Try calling back and keep checking
