What days best for MK, Ep?

We are going the first week in March. Which days draw bigger crowds to which parks? I thought we'd do Epcot on Sunday, MK on Monday. Any suggestions?

Also, who are the "characters du jour"? For example, who is featured in the parades, etc.

MK is usually the busiest of all the parks. our experience is MK is most crowded on saturdays and mondays. also, on the EE days MK will usually be pretty packed by noon or so. sundays are usually a great day to do epcot. spectromagic at MK has most of the popular characters involved in it. I don't think there characters involved in TOD parade at EPCOT although you can find different characters stationed at the different countries in the world showcase throughout the day.
