Funny thing is, most ARE still running it seems after clicking through all 8 pages of posts. This is a two year old thread. So some of these commercials probably aren't new anymore, or even exist.
What is with the big push to get people to watch a live stream of something on their phones?
I just finally got a big screen TV, why would I watch the game, the news, the awards ceremony on my 5" smart phone screen when I can watch it on my 50" TV?
There was a commercial for Hershey's chocolate syrup in the 80's that still haunts me. A little girl gets up in the middle of the night to make a glass of chocolate milk and brings her white teddy bear with her. She puts the milk away, turns back around, the glass is empty and the bear has a chocolate mustache on his face. Then she says.....*deep breath*....."Errrrrnnnniiieee! Next time, Ernie, just ask!" The sound of that kid's shrill, piercing voice has rung in my ears for decades. Just thinking about it makes me want to hurt something.
Nope, but I've searched! I started to wonder if it was just a figment of my imagination. Glad to see I'm not the only one still haunted by it some thirty years later.I have been describing this exact commercial to people and they think I'm crazy because it can't be found ANYWHERE on the internet. Have you been able to find it??
There's one on right now that sends me running from the room. It's for some jewelry store/brand. The woman keeps leaving hints that she wants jewelry. The man wraps the jewelry up in a pot. She's annoyed when she thinks she's getting a pot and then they do these annoying little flirty moves when she finds the jewelry. I'm irrational about the commercial.
Why are perfume commercials so weird? Johnny Depp digging for something Charlize Theron on a beach, and super annoying Natalie Portman yelling about love to some guy.
