What colour of MagicBand will you/did you choose?

I have a pink one and an orange one.

DH has a green and a grey one!

DF chose the Grey
DS(7) Green - because it's his favorite colour
DS(4) Blue - for the same reason
Me - Red - because I felt it was more 'Mickey'!

Orange has always, and always will be, my favorite color.

I have to say I like the grey the best.

I like to think of it as "Steamboat Willie Grey".

I wanted red, but so did dh. So I went with pink so my dd could have blue, my ds1 orange and ds2 green. I wanted us to have all different colors. Oh wait my children aren't coming with us this trip.

Today is our last day to customize and I am second guessing my choice of green. Decisions, decisions!

The green is a very cool color - like a rich apple green

Do you get a new MagicBand for each trip? I thought you were supposed to keep them to reuse on multiple trips.

I thought so too, so I saved mine from my trip last month. But I was told when I called that I needed a new band each trip (and since my next stay is a split, I had to get even another!) during the testing phase. When the whole thing is done and officially "rolled out", the CM told me, THEN we are supposed to reuse bands.

All my bands are red for Mickey. I changed the spelling of the name slightly on each band to keep it straight with the resort.

Couldn't decide between red and green, but chose red. If I get a second choice when my next booking comes up, will choose green - then I can wear both in a Christmas theme

I posted before but I wanted to share a funny story about the colors ...

While we were figuring out our bands, I chose blue and was all excited because I thought DH was going to choose green. I showed him the colors and he said "I really like the grey". I was like "But that's so BORING". He said whatever, but I knew he would really prefer grey. So I made a deal with him.
Since he is plaguing our party of 2 with such a dull color (comparitively), I said that he has to get a MB accessory, and I need to get one too ... cause it's fair.

He agreed! Lol so grey it is but we get to budget for some pizzaz for our bands! Lol

I find it interesting that in the poll here, red is the second most popular color. When I was at Jambo last month, a testing resort, I checked the colors of the magic bands out of curiosity. I had a red MB, but I didn't see another red the whole trip-I was glad to have chosen such a "unique" color. The most popular colors were the bright pink and the green. Of course, grey was the most common-so many people weren't "in the know", so they hadn't chosen beforehand. I guess we DISers are kind of "unique".

I chose orange cause we are going in mid-Oct and I thought it would be a good fit for the whole Fall/Halloween season. For DH I chose green so he can represent the DIS for both of us!

Pink all the way! A note to others with little ones, the bands can be detached to make them smaller. Make sure you do this at home, because the edges were not nice when taken apart and I needed to work on them to clean them up.

I think a lot of people don't realize this, because we saw really little kids in the parks with the full size bands wrapped all the way around twice. My dd and I are little so we peeled off the outside as well. They fit better on us like that. They were too bulky full sized on us.

Orange is my favorite color, but I picked green because it really appealed to me more. My sister chose pink.

I ended up choosing green as it'll match the costume I'm wearing at MNSSHP!

I chose Red. My wrist is too small for the full sized band but too big to detach and solely use the smaller one. I ended up cutting off a bit of the band and rounding out the edges. Worked perfectly for my week at WDW!
