What color iPod do you have?

I don't want an Ipod....I would rather be able to hear when I'm 30. Anyway, I like collecting purses and clothes, not music. (Also, it would probably get lost or stolen)

Do you actually think an iPod will make you go deaf? Haven't you ever listened to a portable cd player? How will it make you lose your hearing?

I have listened to portable CD players, and when I'm done, my ears feel like I've been in the mountains for a few hours. About going deaf, it's always in the news, and I have an almost deaf Grandma that lives with me. I want no part of the deaf thing.

I buy cd's also, then I put them on my iPod. That way I don't have to carry around a bunch of cd's.

Well first of all the iPod doesn't have a "volume nob". The little thing with the play controls is the volume controls as well.

Also the iPod itself doesn't cause the hearing loss. It's the earbuds that come with it. You can use normal headphones, and lose a lot less hearing that way.

First of all don't be an @55. Second of all it doesn't matter what type of headphones you use, earbuds won't damage your hearing anymore than regular headphones. Just be smart about what DB Level you're listening at.

Just a note: the ear buds that come with the iPod stink. I got some nice custom ones made up. I hear everything with out turning the volume up loud.

sorry i m not sure if ths is true...but i thought only the Mini ipods could be colorful and such...? i thought only color a full ipod could be was white...? but idk

Mini's come in orange, blue, green, silver, and pink only. They also do not have a mirrored back. They have also been discontinued, so get them while they're available, if you even want one. The Nano's come in white and black, they also have a mirrored back. The new iPod's with the video support come in white and black, and have a mirrored back.

Technically speakin an iPod isn't an iPod. Depending on how much HD space you want, if you want video, if you want a screen, etc... There are 3 to choose from that are currenty being produced by Apple. They are: the iPod Shuffle, iPod Nano, and iPod.
