Because There all pretty together and my aunt and my mom and dad both gave me a ipod for my b-day and I got another today becuase my friends dad works for ipods or what ever so she gave it ti me for free!

Both of ours did this. I had to spend a fair amount of time experimenting with them, but I finally got both of them to work again. I may be able to assist with yours, but I don't have the computer that I use with me here. If you'd like some suggestions, PM me the details of the computer you use and I'll see if I can walk you through the process that fixed my wife's. Mine kind of fixed itself after I wasted all afternoon on it.

Your correct, but they just added black the the full sized iPods now. So now you can get it in white or black.
