Other than parade time, which if the pattern fits, I won't be seeing that or Aladdin during my trip (just opens up a huge chunk of time Wednesday afternoon, so I can't argue too much).

Thanks!

In the Hollywood Backlot area Mike and Sulley are usually around.

Mickey and Duffy near AG on the pier.

Near TSMM Woody and maybe some friends. Perhaps the Green Army men doing thier pop up show.

Minnie near Soarin.

Mater and Lightning at their M&G near Blue Sky Celar.

Minnie??? In someplace other than Toontown? I've just figured out where our chunk of extra time is going! We'll see Minnie for breakfast on Tuesday, Minnie at DL in MTTMM, and then Minnie at DCA soon after that. DD will be so excited!

Can't see going to see any of the other characters.

Sulley is out frequently, but I've never seen Mike!

Sometimes also in the Hollywood area, one of the Incredibles or a Disney junior character will appear.

Goofy also appears near Soarin'. He and Minnie alternate. They wear aviator costumes which makes it a more unique picture experience.

There's a meet & greet area in Bug's Land as well. Different characters rotate throughout the day, and photopass photographers are often there. It's near the Tough to Be a Bug movie. This location was set up once they started the big construction in the hub and could no longer use that area for characters.

Stitch used to appear in the hub. These days we tend to run into him in the space near the restrooms between Off the Page and Disney Junior in the Hollywood Pictures area.

If you have a Disney Visa card, there is a private Meet & Greet next to Monster's Inc. in the back corner of the Hollywood area. It's from 10:30-noon daily and the characters alternate on the half hour between Pluto and Chip and Dale together.

We've seen Minnie and Goofy in aviator outfits between Soarin' and Grizzly River Rapids.

Woody, Jessie, Little Green Men across from the Carousel.

Sully, Incredibles, Cruella de Ville in the Hollywood Backlot area.

The Brother Bear bears by GRR/Redwood trail area.

Chip & Dale by TOT.

Pluto by It's Tough to be a Bug.

I've seen Sully, Minnie, Mickey, Stitch (he's everywhere in DCA it seems), the bears from Brother Bear, Goofy, Cinderella, Woody, Mr. Incredible, I think we even saw Donald once.

Are these formal areas that I would know characters would be going to? HS in Florida just sets the characters out around the hat as well as the Magic of Disney Animation building back near Little Mermaid , AK has little paths the characters are off of, and Epcot has its own little building for character greets.

We saw Sleeping Beauty in the Hollywood Backlots too once, I was surprised to see her there.

Mickey and Cinderella? At DCA? And here I was thinking DCA would be a bust for characters.

There's a gazebo-thing in Paradise Pier where Mickey hangs out sometimes. Also, my last trip I saw Mr. Incredible and Snow White near the Tower of Terror. It was neat, because I didn't even know Mr. Incredible ran around the parks.

The only formal M&G areas I can think of are.

The Disney Visa M&G in the backlot.
The Plane to the east of Soaring where Minnie and Goofy are.
The Gazebos on the pier where Duffy and Mickey are.seperate spots but close to each other.
The Mater and Lightning M&G.

Yes and No. Do you have a map of DCA? If you do, you can look at the areas/rides posters are referencing, and it might be clearer to you.

Minnie and Goofy are always by an airplane that is between Soarin' and GRR:

Woody, Jessie and Little Green Men are usually found at a covered "patio" area that is right next to the Carousel on Paradise Pier.

I forgot about Mickey (in the Gazebo next to Ariel's Grotto) and Duffy (in his own photo spot, also by Ariel's Grotto).

I have seen Sully by the Monster's Inc ride and also around the corner from that ride if you take the path from Monster's Inc going towards TOT.

Incredibles and Cruella de Ville are often right outside the Animation Academy building.

The Brother Bear bears were on path right in front of the Redwood Creek area; I have also seen them in the Redwood Creek area.

Based on what a PP said, Chip and Dale were probably coming from being in Bug's Land and heading into the CM area by TOT when I saw them. There is a CM backstage door right by where the TOT gift shop lets you out, and I often see characters coming and going there while I am waiting for my family to get off the ride.

Like that PP said, there is a dedicated spot in Bug's Land for characters.

So, short answer to your question, lol, is that there are certain "areas" where these characters usually are, it may not be an exact spot.

HTH!

Cinderella, Sorceror Mickey, and Woody were together in front of the stage near Muppets and Monsters Inc. I'm not sure what the official name of that spot was.

The Brother Bear bears have a regular spot just in the Redwood Experience (believe it or not these guys were the biggest hit with my son, they even beat out Mickey).

I met a lot of the other characters at the plaza in the front which is shut down now. Sully, Stitch and Mr. Incredible were in the street between the Disney Junior Stage and Animations.

Just read out the list of characters to DH and DD, and they're just as excited as I am!! I'm going to have to work in a little more character time than originally planned (but that's why I start planning this early).

Is there a schedule of where and when the characters will be? CMs to ask? Or will I just have to take my luck? At WDW we can get the printouts at the gate and/or often ask CMs who will let us know when and where a particular character will be out.

Thank you all! I can't wait until June!
