What chance would I have?

My family and I are planning a trip to the World . We are wanting to rent points and stay in aXXX. I wouldn't be able to book/pay until early Feb. What kind of chance would I have? Does it even sound possible? Thanks!

Anything's possible but you may be disappointed, more so depending on the category of the room.

Just a reminder, posting specifics such as time of travel and resort wanted when considering a rental are not allowed except in the Rent/Trade thread. I went ahead and removed specifics (and deleted other threads that include specific resort info).

To answer a question, depending on a resort, there are several types of rooms and views. The closer one is to time of travel, the harder it will be to get exactly what you want, where you want.

If paying ahead of time--typical practice in a DVC rental--is going to be an issue, then you may find it difficult to secure what you want.

There was another post just like mine and that is why I thought it was ok to post. I wasn't looking for anyone to rent me points at this time just looking for opinions on if anyone thought it was possible.
