What candy do you buy in Epcot Countries?

I just thought of another one since my husband still has the box from 2007!
In Norway (if they still have them) is Lakerol(pastilles). They come in a little box in Lemon and Menthol Liqorice. I like the Lemon better. Back then they were $2.50 and I think we found them near the register.

The package says they are sugar and calorie free. My husband thought he remembered more flavors.

Anyone seen Kinder Chocolate in Epcot - Germany maybe? Our neighbor - originally from Germany - has gotten my DD hooked on them and it would be fun to find them and stuff our sweaty little faces with Kinder in August. Thanks!

I see you are going back very soon. Please come back and let me know if you found them. We are going in Sept. and I hope they have them. We have not been since 2007 and I am having major withdrawls(sp?)

Does anyone know if Orkney Fudge is sold in the UK? My dad's family is in Scotland, and my aunt (his sister) used to bring Orkney fudge with her for my mom whenever she visited, and I would love to pick some up for her when I'm there in Nov if it's available. The stuff is DELICIOUS!

I do love Cadbury chocolate and the real Smarties as well, we have a store here in town that sells that kind of stuff, and imported stuff from Scotland and England, but alas, no Orkney fudge.

Oh I love the bags of salted liqorice. The best part is, since everyone says YUCK, I don't have to share

We always go to Germany and get the gummy candies. We get the cola and cherry ones. The brand name I think is Habro or something that starts with an H.

Haribo. They make the famous "Gold Bears" too. Very yummy!

I didn't see any fudge when we were there in mid April. Just Cadbury candy bars and a few other treats in the tea shop.

By far THE BEST gummy bears ever! I can get them here whenever I want, but like everything else in Disney, its just better there!!

You CAN get the Kinder Bueno in the "real" Canada and sometimes at a Mexican grocery store. Good luck!

YES, WE HAVE kINDER EGGS IN MEXICO (also all the line of kinder bueno), SO IF YOU LIVE IN THE USA ,YOU PROBABLY FIND THEM AT A MEXICAN MARKET.

De LA ROSA IS A MARZIPAN MADE OF PEANUT, IS VERY GOOD. ALSO IS COMUN CANDY, SO YOU WILL FIND THEM IN MEXICAN GROCERY STORES.

How funny! Haven't checked this thread in ages but something "drew" me to it tonight ... right after I finished the last HARIBO Peaches Gummi Candy from the stash I had my sister bring in January. My husband & I had gone through our stash from September '09 by October so I was really glad my nephew decided to get married at WDW on New Year's Eve! Those candies are always a purchase for us when we visit Germany. Now we'll have to wait until August for more! Love those gummi's!

I subscribe to this thread, and love that it continues to be active – as does my sweet tooth. It's been a wealth of information for me over the YEARS (can you believe it?) the thread has been active.

It also become the inspiration for an article I wrote on the Epcot Candy Tour Challenge, a version of the "Drink Around the World" game.

The article's got a list of many of the candies listed here, plus some others. I also linked to the thread here, so hopefully we'll get more input and updates. (I know I'm bad about reporting back in after a trip. )

I love Smarties!!!!!! Are they different from the American brand?

Very. British Smarties are sort of but not really like M&Ms. Chocolate with a candy coating.

I'm so excited about this thread!! I'm going to WDW in September. My friend and I are looking for things we've never done before, and this will be something fun to do!. I don't know about her, but I've never tried all the different candies you are all talking about! I can hardly wait!

My only question is this: some of you said you don't buy the chocolate because you are afraid of it melting. If you are staying on property, couldn't you send your candy back to the resort? Would that be smart, or do you have to worry about how long it takes to get back to the resort (in the heat, I mean)?

My friend and I will be eating later dinners at EPCOT, so I will probably buy the candy before dinner and take it back afterwards (so it should be out of the heat!

I would still be worried even with package pickup. Non-US chocolate melts much easier than US chocolate does. I've had candy get soft in my house on just a moderate spring day.

That being said, you'll probably be fine getting your candy in the evening.

You will have to pick up the candy before dinner and take it back yourself. Disney will not transfer any food products from the parks back to your resort.

How long has that been the case? They shipped a bunch of stuff we bought at the store in Japan to our resort a couple of years ago.
