We just rented a house in Indian Creek. Can anyone tell me what's in that area? Wal-mart? Restaurants? Other Stores?

There is a grocery store at 192 and Formossa Gardens, that is an expensive store! There is a Publix down 192 to your left a bit further and its much cheaper! Also there is a Super Walmart at 192 and 27 about 6 miles from Indian Creek.

There are tons of places to eat and shop in the immediate vicinity!


PS. This may sound like a silly question, but I have to ask: why are you interested in a Wal Mart?

So many people ask, "Is there a Wal Mart nearby?" and I can never figure it out. Doesn't everyone have a Wal Mart at home?

I don´t know, but maybe she lives overseas? We don´t have a Wal-mart or Target or anything like it here in Iceland and they´re some of the "attractions" we most look forward to seeing, lol.

ohhh, see we don't get our groceries at Wal Mart (actualy I don't shop there ever) so I was wondering why anyone woudl go there on vacation! thanks for answering!

The only good thing I can think of in the Disney area though...they sell Disney souvenirs, autograph books, that sort of thing...at a fraction of the cost of buying these things in the parks. We get this sort of thing there for our kids when we arrive in Orlando. When we get into the parks and the kids go "oooh...I want a WDW autograph book mom & dad!" we pull out the ones we bought at Walmart for $2 and their own $1 Disney pens rather than the super expensive park versions, they never know the difference and we save a bundle buying it there!
