What can we do?

In June I booked the FTP for next month for my husband and myself. Now someone wants to go with us. I know it is too late to add her to the FTP, but can we still add her to the room? I know there will be the extra adult per day charge and that is fine. She will be buying an AP before we leave so her tickets wil be covered.

Has anyone else done anything like this?

I would suggest calling Disney directly. That way you'll be sure to get the correct answer. Normally you can add an extra adult to the room for a fee (as long as the room will accomodate the # of guests in your party) but I'm not familiar with the restrictions of the FTP.

My sister is joining at the end of our stay. Our TA (SWT) called Disney and they said they could not add her beforehand unless she got a UPH for all 8 days as part of the FTP. The suggestion was made that we add her to the reservation at the front desk on the day she gets there and purchase her 3 day UPH at that time. They said that was the only way to do it. It's a little annoying as we can't get the advance purchase price, but it's better than booking for days she doesn't need. We are staying at the BWVs, so I'm not sure about the extra adult charges. Based on what they told me, I guess you could just add the person to the reservation at the resort, however, I'm sure you will want to confirm this info with Disney.

Thanks Maura. I thought I had read before that was how it had been handled.

Tigger Fan I wanted to check on here before I called Disney because I didn't want to confuse them and have them make any changes to my reservation and possibly mess it up. But I will be calling them tonight.
