What can I NOT do (resale)

we are buying resale so what is the list of things we can not do? I know the big ones what I'm still confused on pool hopping and TIW card?

Yes, you can pool hop, subject to the restrictions that apply to everyone.

You can go to TOTW Lounge.

You CANNOT trade your points for cruises, pay cash for the member cruise in lieu of points, go to member special events (Moonlight Magic, etc.), use the Epcot Lounge. No AP discount.

TIW is actually administered outside of DVC and people have been able to buy with the digital card. YMMV.

Basically the cruise deal or outside of dvc hotel deals are way overpriced, so that is not really an issue

You can't use your points to book the non-DVC hotels at Disneyland such as The Disneyland Hotel or Paradise Pier when purchasing resale.

No "free" Member Events (that you'd have to be lucky to be going already when the date is announced)

No AP discounts (which can be a good perk depending on # of family members, but it's not guaranteed to always be available)
