what can I expect at the po/fq??

We are staying for 9 nights at the pofq in Aug/Sept. I am requesting building #5(lets hope I get it). I know of a few of the resorts anemities but what else can I expect. We have never stayed onsite before, so this is a big treat. Are there anything hidden/ special things at this hotel that are not publisized?
I know about the boat to dd disney. The serpent pool. Do they have shampoo/soap in the bathroom? Or do I bring my own? What else?

You'll love it. The FQ is nice and quaint. The serpent pool is cool. If you have kids, they will love it. You will have Disney themed soap, shampoo, etc. supplied to you daily. The ride to DTD is great. We loved to take the boat late in the evening. It was really relaxing. Plus, it was a bit quicker than taking the bus. You might want to visit Riverside (short walking distance) while you are there. You can rent poles and go fishing. It also has a cool pool called the Ol' Man Watering Hole. Don't forget that you can rent a scurry to ride around. The FQ is a great place to come home to and relax during your WDW stay.
