Good luck with everything today. Definitely let the DH spoil you for the next few days this way you will be well rested for Disney.

Good luck, Clara!
T&B, I hope you're feeling all better soon! Take it easy and don't overdo it for the next couple of weeks.
The nurse told my DH no housework for 6 months.I don't think he believed her, though.

Going in for my surgery in the AM. Prayers and pixie dust would be much appreciated!
Gifts of flowers and Depends can be sent directly to the hospital or to our room at OKW!![]()
Thanks!
I am just going to give you probably the most important advice I wish someone would have giving me (after lap surgery), two simple words: Stool softeners.
Seriously. If things aren't going as normal, in any way, stool softeners are your friend.
Don't ask me to tell the whole sordid story. Let's just say I learned the really bad way, k?
T&B, glad you are home and recovering. Good luck Clarabelle!
Oh my goodness PAW, I was coming here to post about the stool softeners and to tell them to make sure they get up and walk around every so often.I am just going to give you probably the most important advice I wish someone would have giving me (after lap surgery), two simple words: Stool softeners.

I thought most people have the opposite problem after the surgery? I really don't want to have this done now.Oh my goodness PAW, I was coming here to post about the stool softeners and to tell them to make sure they get up and walk around every so often. That was the worst part after surgery.
Luckily it all worked its way out.

Tag Fairy on aisle 11!You better be careful what you say, PAW. Last time I said underwires were my friend, I ended up with a new tag.![]()

This is a potential side effect after ANY surgery. It's a combination of the anesthesia, being less mobile, and using painkillers. It's not a side effect of THIS particular surgery.I thought most people have the opposite problem after the surgery? I really don't want to have this done now.![]()
Okay my story is't so bad. I felt uncomfortable, I had been warned about the side effect, called the doctor's office to make sure a stool softener was okay, ahhhhh.![]()
