what can I expect 11/4 - 11/10

In terms of crowds at parks and restaurants in parks, what can we expect the week of 11/4 through 11/10?

We're counting down the days! This is our first trip taking the kids ~ they are 5 and 2 ~ and only the second trip for my husband and me (went for first time about 9 years ago).

We leave Wednesday and stay until the middle of next week. It is Jersey Week next week so don't expect the crowds to be light. Crowds will definitely increase as the week goes on (Friday is Veteran's Day.) New Jersey schools have several days off as well as many other school districts on the east coast. I'm in Delaware and my kids are off Monday, Tuesday and Friday. On the plus side, it looks like the weather is going to be good! Just plan on some crowds and plan accordingly. Have fun!

Those are our dates as well. I checked on the weather earlier today and saw that it will be high 70's/low 80's during the days. Our school system has the week off (NC). I'm expecting it to be busy.

If you plan on having any sit down restaurant meals you may want to call ahead and try to get reservations. It is very busy, last year we found that even with "reservations" there was often quite a wait for dinner. My advice is if you are traveling with children who get crankey when hungry is to pack a small bag of snacks and juice boxes to keep them from going over the edge when the wait gets long. Use your fast passes and read the tips on this board and you should have a great trip even with the crowds, after all most of us will be from Jersey, and we're the most fun!

Is there ever a "quiet" time at Disney? We really thought this would be a rather quiet time to go but it sure doesn't seem that way.
