What backpack to get my son for college?

I concur with the North Face backpack with the laptop slot/padding! It's a great backpack and worth the investment. My DS' North Face camping backpack's strap broke and they replaced it with a new one no questions. They stand behind their products. I love the backpack, and am passing it onto DS for college, I'll miss it! DS actually has two classes this semester that require a computer *in class*, so he will be toting it around campus.
We also got him a protective case for his computer, kind of like an iphone protective case.
