I am still planning the family trip this year. I would like to know which rides and attractions can my DD1 take part in? I would like to know how many baby swaps we will have to plan for?

We will be going the week before Easter. My 1yr neice and her 3yr old brother will be going with us. I will let you know then if no one else has any ideas. In the meantime this will bump u back to the top for someone else to reply

Some of the rides the baby may be allowed on but the ride may be too loud. It is difficult to say. Take a look at www.universalorlando.com

They give you a good idea of what the rides are like.

Thanks so much guys for the information. I think my little princess will be able to enjoy herself in the parks. Hopefully we won't have to do so much baby swapping, because we only want to go to Universal for 2 days, 3 days tops. Because we would like a day to rest before we head over to a Disney resort.

I'm back, had a great trip and the kids loved it. They especially liked having a toddler along for the baby swaps. Universal makes it easy for the swaps, most rides have rooms with benchs that you can wait in, with one entrance by the loading zone, and the other by the unloading zone, you just swap the adults and they let the kids ride twice. There were not a lot of rides for the toddler but they still had fun, Barney was a big hit as was Fievel's playland and Curious George's water park. She liked Jimmy Neutron, though had to sit in a stationary seat, sat through Shrek, but didn't seem interested. Looked around amazed in ET and liked the Animal Actors show. In IOA loved the whole Seuss area, especially the Caroseussal. Don't feel that you have to miss out because you have a toddler along, we had no problems at all.

Thanks so much for all of the great information. It makes the trip planning that much easier. I am glad it seems that you and your family had a great time.
