On our last trip, we did the Journey into Imagination (or whatever it's called) with Figment and my 8 and 6 year old (at the time) absolutely adored it. We ended up riding it 3 times that day. I definitely did not see that coming!

What attraction didn't seem that interesting but turned out to be a surprising favorite?

The Frozen singalong. I should have hated it. Didn't. Just got a FP to go again in December.

JII is pretty much only adored by those who weren't around to see the original.

Spaceship Earth has been a favorite for my daughter since she was 2. Not exactly a ride I would have thought a two-year-old would love.

Though I'm not sure I agree with her.... my gf loves Carousel of Progress! I think my surprise favorite was Philharmgic :goodvibes

Monsters Inc Laugh Floor.

To be honest, I didn't know what to expect, but I laughed a lot the first time I saw the show.

figment has always been one of my favorites no matter the version.
(he's one of my favroite characters in general. so much so that i have a figment tattoo).

as for a surprise favorite it would be toy story midway mania.
i have never been into toy story and have not liked that many disney movies since due to computer animation.
i also did not like buzz lightyear space ranger spin so i really did not think i would enjoy toy story mania. i was reluctant to go on it but omg i'm so glad i did. it is now a must do!

carousel of progress has been my favorite attraction at magic kingdom since i can remember so i like the way your gf thinks!

In AK, Prime Evil Whirl is a sneaky good ride. Seems tame, but its got some kick.

Starring Rolls in the Studios -its a place to eat, but is a TREAT

MK - totally agree with Monsters Inc

EPCOT - TurtleTalk is hilarious. Also have to see the Servant Amuseur in France. He does a chair stack & balance act.

The bird show in AK.

I always though, I've seen birds before, who cares, but both my son and I really enjoyed it and now it's become an AK "must do!"

Festival of the Lion King in AK. Watched it for the first time in 2011. It was awesome.

My kids absolutely love "the Epcot ball" spaceship earth. Like a previous poster, I wouldn't expect that to be a fave of little kids. Thought at first it was just the appeal of the exterior, but they still loved it after riding!

My DD, 8, did Stitch last month for the first time and absolutely loved it. Really? :confused3 Almost everyone hates Stich! :confused3

BTMRR. I'd last ridden it as a teenager and remembered thinking it was kind of lame because it has no airtime. I really enjoyed it this time. Even though it's not a thrill ride, it is a really fun ride.

Living with the Land. We went on it while waiting for our Soarin FP and ended up really enjoying it. We now ride it every trip.:)

AK - Nemo show. Fish on sticks on stage??? Really??? And it was fantastic.

HS - Animation Class. Everyone learns to draw a dis character. Incredible for kids to draw something so amazing on their own. Ours are framed.

I really enjoy carousel of progress. I was with a group and we were supposed to split up since some of us, including me, were going on space mountain. They asked if I minded if they went on carousel of progress. I said yes! They did something else I think, and we all went on after.

SDMT.
I read so many ho-hum reviews, I expected to ride it once and not go on it again.
My girls (8 and 9) LOVED and their enthusiasm kind of grew on me....we ended up riding it several times during our trip.

agreed! DD and I went to see Flights of Wonder while DH was riding EE. We LOVED it (really didn't expect that) and then dragged him back for the next show.

We see it multiple times per trip!
