When I was a photog/editor/chopper photog, I worked four 11 hour days. The coveted shift was the 7a-6p shift.
I HATED the morning show shift with the white hot intensity of ten thousand suns. That was 4:30a-1:30pm.
Wow, 430 am is a pretty late start for a morning show. Producers work 11 pm to 730 am, most of the rest of us work 3 am to 11:30 am, or 3:30 am to Noon. My wife's shop photogs/reporters are in 2 am, editors are staggered, 1 at Midnight, 1 at 3:30 am, 1 at 4:30 am.
1st time in about 10 years I've had both Saturday and Sunday off. Sooo nice, I can't whine too much about working til 10.
