What are your work hours?

Whatever I want, so long as I get in 35 hours. Usually 9-4ish, but I go to quite a few conferences and travel for meetings so I accrue a lot of OT. I bank that to take extra vaca :cool1:

I work in non-profits at a state university.

I work in food manufacturing so its either 7 - 7 day shift or 7 - 7 night shift. Its an odd pattern though
two on two off
three on two off
two on three off.

Hubby works 7am-3:30pm (electrical maintenance at a factory)

I'm a school bus driver so I work...

5:49am-9:10am (Mon-Fri)
11:30am-4:45ish (Tues and Thurs)
11:30am-1:00pm and 1:40-4:45ish (Mon and Wed)
11:30am-1:00pm and 1:40-3:45ish (Fridays)

Between driving the regular school runs I also have a mid-day run, work program run and late run, so my hours vary, day to day.

I have always wondered what bus drivers do when they aren't working, like the in between hours?

My employer is quite flexible with work hours. I usually start at 6:30am and leave at 4:00pm. This allows me to beat most of the rush hour traffic and I am able to get home to have dinner with my family. We also get every second Friday off. My last job I was able to work from home about 90% of the time, which I really liked. I found I was able to get more work down working from home.

6:00AM - 2:30PM. I don't have to go to work that early, but these hours let me avoid most of the rush hours in the DC area.

I work nights, 11P-7:30A, 42 hours a week, in a group home. Lately I've been pulling one or two extra shifts each week so about 50-58 hours a week.

I no longer work outside the home, but when I did work (waitress) I worked Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Those were the best tip days. :) Friday I would come in at either 3:00, 4:00 or 5:00 (rotating each week). The restaurant closed at 8:00 and we were usually out of there by 9:00 or 9:30 after doing clean-up. Saturday I would come in at 3:00 or 4:00, and get out at 9:00 or 9:30. Sunday I opened so came in about 6:45 (open at 7:00) and I took tables until the lunch crowd died down, usually by 1:00 or 2:00 at the latest. Then I stayed until my last table left so I could get the tip and clear the table, so usually by 2:00 or 3:00 I could go home.

I had that schedule for a few years, but at one point I was working 9 out of every 10 days. Then I cut back to just working Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday for a few years, then finally gave up Mondays too.

7:30-2:00 m-f

8:30-9:30 am Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri and 8:30-11:30am on Wed. It's a grueling schedule. LOL
Unless I'm subbing, then it's 8:15-3:15

I'm an admin assistant in a hospital. In the summer my hours are 8:30a-5:00p. When school starts up in the fall I need to put my youngest on the school bus so my hours go to 9:00a-5:30p.
My fiance's hours depend on if he's working in Virginia or here where we live. If its in VA the he leaves at 4am to beat the DC/VA traffic to start at 6am and gets off at 2:30 but because of traffic doesn't get home til God knows when. If It's here in Maryland then his job is just down the road from our house. Hours are 6am - 2:30p, but there's no traffic.

I used to work 7 am - 7 pm every day and most Saturdays until I wised up and found out that at my company working yourself to death gets you no where. It was starting to affect my health. I now work 8-5 and go home to spend time with my family.

Typically 8-4. I very rarely work over 40 hours. Once a year I work a Friday evening / Saturday, and every couple years I have to travel for a few days. I can't (and don't) complain.

I'm salary, as long as I work my 40+ my schedule is flexiable. I work at home some days and go into the office the others.

Allows me to run my daughter around, which I appreciate and thank my boss a lot for allowing me to have the flexiable schedule.

I'm in upper management with no "set" schedule but my work days are generally 7-8ish to 6-7ish, I average an 11 hour day.

I really strive to take weekends off other than checking email etc, I rarely come into the office.

My hours are supposed to be Mon thru Thurs: 10:30a--6:00p, Fridays: 10:30a--7p & Saturdays: 8a--12p but I usually come in at 10:00am & sometimes stay later depending on whether a student takes a little longer with the assessment. Saturday is mandatory to be here at 8am but I can leave as soon as class starts & I finish typing certificates. Unless I teach the class, then I'm here til 4:30/
