What are your Restaurant Obsessions?

Buffalo Wild Wings Honey BBQ boneless wings and their cheese curds. The calorie count is enormous so it's a once in a while treat, but I crave it every day!

Lambert's Country Fried Steak @ the Sikeston, MO location. I only get down there once or twice a year though. Closer to me, our family loves this little local Mexican place called Que Pasa!

Grotto Pizza! I don't have any near me in PA, so only get it a couple of times a year.

I am craving Chik Fil A right now, too. A few months before we moved from our old town, they opened one about 15 minutes away. We went about every other week. Now the nearest one is 30 minutes away and we've never gone. I miss the lemonade, chicken sandwiches and waffle fries!

Every since I lived in the UK for 6 months, I have been craving Nandos. It's one of my favorite chains ever and they have the most delicious peri-peri chicken. It was one of the last places I ate at, back in May 2014, before I moved back here. But I haven't been able to have it in way, way, way too long and I am missing it so much.

DD fell in love with Nando's when she studied in the UK and Ireland. We may have to take a road trip to Virginia or DC to get a fix.

We've had Texas Roadhouse nearby here in Michigan for years. We rarely go and I struggle to find anything on the menu.

I prefer independent restaurants to chains where they actually cook up the food on your plate fresh, not from premade, preseasoned often frozen stuff.

I'm lucky that I live in a pretty large city. most of the chains are located near the malls so the neighborhoods have local pizzeria's (yummm) and restaurants.

If you are ever in Philadelphia there is an Italian restaurant called Restaurante Pesto. on broad st in south Philly. OMG!! family owned and operated. I believe they have the proverbial grandma in the kitchen overseeing the work.

lol, but if I gotta go with chains, I'm going to commit sacrilege and say I still love Mcdonalds French fries. don't know what they do to them but I love them

I love Chinese stuff in general. I know people might think it is gross but I like the buffets. It seems that different ones excel with different dishes. If I could piece together that stuff it would probably overload me :rotfl:

Buffets are the only way I have expanded my options with Chinese food. For years it was only chicken chow mein. But once I could try different things on the buffet, there are like 12 different options that I will order. Thank goodness for the buffet opening here.

Most chain places have a lot of salt and msg like ingredients that upset my stomach. But I love the chicken teriyaki sandwich at Red Robin, bowls at Chipotle and salad at Olive Garden. I am a little obsessed with Pho. I can't make it at home and don't think it tastes good to go. DH doesn't really like it so I don't get it too often. He humors me and goes once in a while but doesn't see why so many people make a big deal out of it.

Currently my obsession now that it's getting colder is Panera's broccoli cheddar soup. So good.

We also really like O Charley's. Yeah, it's a chain, but they have good variety, decent prices, and the food is actually good. Their cobb salad is awesome.

Also, Chipotle. Not too bad for you (although I usually just get a rice bowl or a salad) and it's delicious.

And Moe's chips and queso. I hate their food, but the chips and queso are amazing.

my family discovered O'Charleys on a road trip and the nearest one to our house was an hour away by the airport so it was an extra treat to go out of town, but then they shut all the ones in Michigan down :(
I was into panera until they removed French Onion soup from their menu for the winter (i guess) then i was just disappointed.

My Wife was vegetarian when our long distance relationship started. O'Charley's was a good place to accommodate her, customizing dishes to suit. Fortunately she got better when I showed her how good a steak can really be!
