What are your plans for the weekend?

Well i've just hung a ton of laundry out on the line to dry in the warm sunshine. And then we're just going to sit around in the yard and relax listening to all the birds chirping and enjoying the day.

Tuesday we head up to DB's cottage for a few days of R and R.

I have finally rested up from being on vaction last week, so now back to the routine. I have laundry piled up too high to mention, my house needs a good cleaning, and as soon as I can pry myself from the computer, I have to do MAJOR grocery shopping! Yep, sounds like a nice recreational weekend to me!

Just got back from some Canada Day Celebrations. My kids are painted from head to toe and throw in some coloured hair. They had three legged races, entertainment for young and old, cake, candy and pioneer crafts to do because it was at a museum. Now we are taking a break before the fireworks tonight.

we just got back from a celebration of life party for the best friend of my oldest DS. He was diagnosed with brain cancer right before they started their senior year of H.S.. He finished chemo and radiation this winter, and is doing great Here's a picture of my son with his friend ( he had just finished a round of chemo ) taken last year at their graduation party

He's doing great now, and we are so happy
