What are your plans for Memorial Day Weekend?

I am going to have a very small bbq! Nothing fancy, just me, dh, mom and Godmother. Going to cook some hotdogs, hamburger's on the grill. Homemade macaroni salad, baked beans, corn on the cob and watermelon!

I am so excited to be able to go outside and just sit and enjoy the deck and family!

We're piling 7 people in the minivan on Thursday evening and driving from Maryland to Pinehurst NC to visit my dad. Me, DH, DS, DD, DSis, DN, and DN. We'll head home on Monday morning. This is the third year we've done it. Hope it's warm enough to swim.

I agreed to work on Saturday to cover for a friend. But our office is usually dead on Saturdays and I may get some scrapbooking done while I'm there or watch some movies or something. Monday we'll have a family dinner. I don't know if we'll cook out or not. It's getting to be out of grilling season here in FL. We grill in winter. It's too hot to grill in summer!

We'll be in Amelia Island. The kids last day of school is on Friday and we get on a plane on Saturday! My mom, my sister and her fiance are going as well. Friday is also Dh's and my 16th year anniversary so it's kindof a celebration for that too!

Packing, packing and more packing. We move into our new house on 6/9 . In between we'll go to our town's parade and friends may have a picnic that we'll go to. I want to hit some furniture sales that weekend as well.

Weather permitting, I would like to cook out. With our goofy weather we haven't been able to go outside much and enjoy warmth or sunshine. Looks like we may be skipping Spring. Sure hope summer is better.

CEDMom - Good luck in your new home. How Exciting!!!

I am taking my 20 month old nephew over night friday and Saturday we will go to the zoo in Green Bay with him while his mom works.

Saturday and Sunday night are currently planned for sitting/cooking by the firepit and vegging out just the 4 of us.

I am also going to either stain our deck or paint my bedroom on Sunday and Monday!!!! I can't wait to enjoy home!!!! Starting Wednesday we start 2 months of intense baseball running with the kids!!!

We're taking the kids camping at West Branch State Park in Ravenna, Ohio. It's a great state park and we love it there!
Can't wait till Friday!!!

On Friday we're going to see the Strokes in concert. then on Memorial Day we're going to have a vegan bbq. I might get a tattoo sometime this weekend too, I'm not sure.

we wantto go camping, may not work though, not sure what work we have lined up for this week, right now we have nothing..lol.. plus it is next to impossible to get a campsite in arkansas with out reservations anymore, which really trashes the throw atent in the truck and go spur of the moment trips we love to take...

Sailing on the Disney Magic with lots of DIS friends! We have over 44 DIS families sailing with us!

Busy busy weekend for me and my family...
DD is getting married on Saturday, so.....
family friends and relatives arriving on Thursday
rehearsal and dinner on Friday
wedding on Saturday
Brunch at my house on Sunday, followed by visiting local tourist attractions
More time with family and friends on Monday until everyone but my parents leave that afternoon.

Anyone want to come help me clean my house??!!

DH and I are heading North to our place in N. Mi. DD and her DH and DGK's and friend will also be coming up. The men play golf and DD and I go to the craft show and the kids play in the woods and go fishing.

We all have a great time but then there is the clean-up.

My family will be @ Universal Studios Sat & Sun,then moving to WDW Mon for 8 days!!

I am having a pity party right now.....we always go to Maine...this year DH said NO, we are doing the roof! OK so I was going to book and pay for it all myself but then DS,17, did not take time off from work and DD, 16, is babysitting Friday and Saturday night...I will be in mourning all week the weather is supposed to be gorgeous and warm! I am trying to make myself feel better by saying, we will open the pool! It is not working too well so far!

Our friend E's parents have a cabin in the mountains that we're all going to for the weekend. It will be E & M and baby G, myself & DH, and my old roommate, C & her DH T. C & I are both from the midwest, and we're trying to convince the rest of the group to have a brat fry over the weekend. The others are resistant - they want grilled salmon but no grilled bratwurst - so C & I are thinking we'll just do it for the two of us for lunch on Sunday. It's not Memorial Day weekend without grilling bratwurst! Salmon is great, and I love it, but I really miss brats. DH keeps saying "you can take the girl out of the midwest, but you can't take the midwest out of the girl."

Start dragging out our suitcases and airing them out for our upcoming WDW trip!!

Oh yeah, probably grill out and make my family's favorite thing of the summer.....potato salad!
