What are your kids must do's?

Taking our first cruise soon. When it comes to the world we know exactly what we like and I make sure to plan those thing in accordingly. Having never been on DCL (or any other cruise for that matter) we don't know what we will want to do and what I need to book ahead of time.

DS 9 loves Star Wars and Legos. Anything action or adventure related.

DS 7 wants to be a chef and LOVES water slides and roller coasters.

DD 5 princesses, tea parties and pink are all of her favorite things.

So what is your child's MUST do or favorite thing they've ever done?

TIA!!
Thank you for starting this thread! I will be on the Fantasy late November with my 6 year old son- our first time!

it was in one of the nightclubs which has morphed into something else so I am no longer able to answer this question....but I'm sure somebody here knows and the Navigators, of course, will inform

There are Marvel Characters?!? Are these part of the m&g tickets?

Where do you sign up for this?

Yes on the Magic at least. Cpt America, Thor, and Spiderman. Yes, you get the tickets when you pick up the other tickets.

It's in the navigator, you just show up at the appointed time and place to sign up, in my case, Wavebands on the Wonder.

I did not see you post which ship you'll be on, but our family's must-do is Muppets Mid-Ship Detective Agency. Pepe totally rocks the "Shaft" outfit.

Our DD was almost 5 when we sailed. Ironically, she loved getting a pedicure BEFORE the cruise with me the most. I think she felt extra grown up, prepping for HER vacation. She also loved all of her special outfits with her name embroidered on them (that were all themed) and when she was announced as "Princess XYZ and her royal subjects" as we boarded. She loved decorating our stateroom door and changing out the magnets each day. She LOVED the princesses and still talks about them to this day. We were on a Panama Canal Cruise, so there were less than 200 minors on the cruise so those kids got super special attention. She enjoyed all of the character meets, spending time in the club and "ordering like a big girl" each night. She was very proud of her lanyard with her KTTW card in it. Both of her parents wear credentials at work, so she thought she was quite official. She also loved watching dolphins play in the wake of the ship and attending the various "parties" onboard. Overall, I think she had a great vacation because it was 100% kid-centric (we usually travel to National Parks or to ski resorts or to the desert to ride or to the river to boat...she has fun, but its not "kid stuff). We made sure that it was 15 days of her being the princess and getting to do whatever she wanted...staying up late, etc. We did need to do a Disney-detox when we got home though...she went from well taken care of to spoiled rotten and we were having none of that!!
