What are your favorite treats to take home?

I am a sweets person myself, so I love the little bags of candy with Goofy on the front. The licorice was really good, so were the sour gummy worms. I'm going to try some different types in November. Good candy, always tastes really fresh :)
:teeth: <- and my teeth haven't rotted out yet to boot!

Princess Pooh & mtakac...

The Princess hot chocolate is very good! So, good in fact when my best friend went to WDW in March I had her pick me up another one.. but a different color of course!!

We bought it at the World of Disney store in DTD

I'm just wondering how much the princess hot chocolate is and how much is in it.

Thanks!

Past history: I've never really had the cash to indulge myself in the parks as most of the cash has gone to getting there.

However now I can. What is an absolute MUST HAVE as far as goodies down in the park. I know there are tons and well honestly...I want to fit in the clothes I came down with coming home. If you could only have one thing down there, what would it be?

My favorite treats to take home are those Disney shortbread cookies. I buy a lot for us and to give away as gifts when we get home. Shhhh...don't tell anybody I said this but they taste so much better than Girl Scouts shortbread cookies. LOL! Hopefully this won't get back to my co-leaders. Yikes!

Just lots and lots of pictures and the memory of fun. :earsboy:

I don't need the calories of sweets. I never wear Mickey hats or shirts outside of the park. I don't need more knicknacks around the house, either!

<<Pooh cinamon honey sugar wafffle >>
Tell me where to get these and get out of my way!
Three of my favorite ingredients!!!
I NEVER go home without the fudge. Come to think of it, my hotel room is never without the fudge either. I'm a HUGE fan of the Maple Walnut but lately I've been craving everything Peanut Butter so I think I know what flavor I'll be snackin on!
Diana

Of course the item I need to have the location of didn't copy...
It was the Pooh Cinnamon Sugar Honey Waffle things...PLEASE tell me where to get this beacuse I'm dying now! I want about 10 of them!
Diana

Sorry, I said where I got the key lime pie filling but not my other favorites!

Pooh cinamon honey sugar wafffle cookies - I bought these at the big candy store on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom. They are individually wrapped (teal wrapper with Pooh when we got them last year) and are about the size of a pizzelle.

DWhittles, if you're a fudge person you should try the Mickey Chocolate Truffles. They are everywhere - parks and resort gift shops. They come in a black and white box with a cool halogram (I save mine and use them for photos) or a black and white bag.

I have to bring back the chocolate-covered bings from Giradelli's for a co-worker because she just loves em, but I prefer the blueberry for myself.

I tend to spend an ungodly amount of money in Goofy's Candy Store!! I love the sweet-tarts! The white chocolate/raspberry cookies were amazing too. But after one I could have hurled they were so sweet and rich!! But the creme of the crop is the Pixie dust powder (like Pixie Sticks). The white apple and sour peach is to die for!! You fill the tubes with whatever flavor you want!! They also had a dispenser at Old Port Royale at CBR. I have to admit I felt a little silly being an adult filling a pixie stick tube, but hey, it is Disney World!!

Has anyone ever tried to bring one of these tubes home? I didn't because I wondered how airport security would react to a tube of powder in your luggage!! But next time we go, my brother-in-law, isn't going, so I absolutely must bring him some back because he loved it as much as I did!!

I got my fudge from the Villians Store in MGM and the Candy Store right on Main Street in the MK! LOVELY fudge! YUMMY!!

We usually camp at FW, so we have a refrigerator/freezer. Last time we went we stocked up on mickey bars icecream. It was great to get home after a long drive and unpack and then settle in for a little "bite" of disney.

Awwww Diana!! I just noticed that you're going to have another bundle of joy! I'm soooo jealous! Congrats! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Last time we were at DL, I forgot to buy peanut brittle! What was I thinking? Oooooooh, you know that's the first thing I'm going to eat when we go back in December.

Oh yeah, of course, the Mickey ice cream bars on a stick and churros. No one else does churros like Disney!

:mickeybar

I also get the Hunny Pots that Melisa1 mentioned! Although they don't usually get much farther than the Orlando airport! :teeth: But I've had my friends bring them back from their trips, too. You can find them in the gift shop at the end of the Pooh ride.

I know when I go down to Wildwood, NJ there are some stores that have better fudge than others, some stores that are more reasonably priced than others for salt water taffy, etc.
In Disney are they all priced the same for fudge, novelty candy, etc. and does it all taste good, or is one place better than another?
::MinnieMo

In WDW, the fudge is all priced the same and made by the same place. BUT, each store carries a different variety. Well- that's not entirely true. They carry a lot of hte same flavors, but each store has a few different kinds of fudge the other stores don't have. At least that's been my experience. I found fudge in the MK- Main St., MGM in the Villians Store and in DTD right around the Virgin Record Store.

We always buy the MM pretzels. Also the character mints (They come in a tin like Altoids). And of course Mickey or Pooh pasta. I will buy pasta in any shape!!!!
