Jiko - I like the appetizers. I could make a meal just of the friendship bread and their first course menu. There's usually at least one flatbread on the menu worth trying, and I've liked every appetizer I've ever tried there. They also usually have a good lamb entrée. I didn't care at all for the shrimp curry the last time we had dinner there, but that was the only thing I've ever had at Jiko that I didn't like. The newish Amarula crème brûlée on the dessert menu is wonderful.
CA Grill - Again, I like their first course menu. Have a flatbread, a Spicy Kazan roll from the sushi menu, or one or two things from the appetizers menu. Try whatever seasonal desserts they offer because their pastry chef is awesome.
Yachtsman - From the appetizers menu, the Maine diver scallops, the lobster bisque and their seasonal salads are all great. I've actually never had a steak there, but I have tried my partner's rib-eye and it was great.
Y&Y - Again, appetizers! Are you noticing a theme here? The pot stickers, the seared Ahi tuna, the wonton soup and the dim sum basket for two (which includes the aforementioned pot stickers) are all good. My favorite is the cha su bao in the dim sum basket.
Brown Derby - The menu here has changed a lot since the last time we dined there, but I still fully endorse the grapefruit cake and the crème brûlée. In fact, I think I'd like to visit the restaurant just for those desserts and their martini flight.
Mama Melrose - I can't recommend anything at Mama Melrose. I think it's the worst Italian food in Disney World.
