Another trip coming up and so much we haven't done yet. Here's my list of things I still need to do. What's yours?

1) Have the kids portraits done at BCV.

2) Segway around Epcot

3) Eat at La Cellier in Canada

4) Chef Mickey Character Breakfast

5) Let the kids Wake Tink

6) Rent a "speed boat" in the lagoon.

7) Illuminations cruise (Booked yesterday :cool1: )

There are a few new attractions since our last visit, so those are definites. We would also like to do:

1. Typhoon Lagoon (have only been to BB once).
2. Miniature golf (never at WDW).
3. Maybe Disney Quest.
4. Pool hop (I always say I want to do this and it hasn't worked out yet -except to SAB before BCV.)

WE have not been there since "Soarin" opened, so we will definitely be doing that. We did the Segway tour last trip, but we want to do that again. We laso want to be sure to do the animation drawing again. That was a blast! Our favorite attraction is Kilamanjaro Safari, so we look forward to doing that numerous times each trip. Also looking forward to the Epcot NYE fireworks.

BIG, but not first, trip for DD3goingon23:
  • Living Legacy at Epcot with Grandma and Auntie
  • Holiday lights and decorations for the first time
  • MVMCP for the first time
  • Candlelight Processional at Epcot for the first time
  • And the BIG one...get "Welcome Home"d for the first time!

Things we just haven't managed to fit in and really want to do:

(1) Le Cellier (never done it. Hope the pretzel bread and soup live up to the hype!)

(2) Illuminations (or wishes) cruise (we were supposed to do an Illuminations dinner/dessert last trip, but Hurricane Charley had other plans.)

(3) Cirque de Soliel (Spelling?) Kids are finally old enough to appreciate it!

(4) Universal and/or Sea World (Auggh! Don't slam me! But it's true -- we've never set foot off Disney's hallowed soil! Just wondering what's out there, ya know?)

(5) Liberty Tree Tavern (never dined here... we always go in summer, though, and Thanksgiving feasts just seem so HeAvY in the August heat...)

THings we've done before that are now MUST DO's for next trip!

(1) HoopDeeDoo review (my kids' agreed fave meal of trip! And they LOVE watching SixBits!)

(2) Chef Mickey's (just not a trip without it) and Crystal Palace (love the P-Bear and Co.)

(3) Typhoon Lagoon (we've done both water parks, but last trip we did BB, so this trip it's time for a TL fix!)

(4) Night out for DH and me (last trip it was dinner at SHula's with kids in complimentary care at Camp Dolphin... I'd gladly do that again, or find a new venue. EIther way, it was a win-win for kids and parents!)

DH says YES to Ohana. Boys say BIG YES to Disney Quest. Me and DD say REALLY BIG YES to "Mom/DD Day Out". BOys want a "Mom/DS Day Out" too though -- may have to work something into the "line-up" (along with DAd/dd day out! ALready had a Dad/ds day out -- that's the Dis Quest day...)

I don't have a list in front of me, but off the top of my head things I've never done that I'm doing this next trip:

Son's first haircut
Eat turkey leg
Try Spoodles
Soarin'
MNSSHP
RNR
Segway Epcot

I'm going for 16 days this trip, and there's still never enough time to do all the stuff I've never done, plus all the stuff I HAVE to do every trip.

/
We want to do the fishing trip on Bay Lake next trip. We always try to do something different each trip, either a tour, restaurant, or show. Other things on my list,

Hoop de doo
California Grill
Cirque
Shula's (in a couple of years when all my children are finally old enough to stay at Camp Dolphin)
Parasailing at the Contemporary

On our last trip our new things were Mini golf at Winter Summerland (the summer side) and we ate Turkey Legs at MGM. The Golf was something we will do again. I am in hopes that I will never be forced to eat a Turkey leg ever again! :sad2:   I don't know if it was the heat but the longer that turkey leg sat in my stomach the more I regretted eating it. I think it was the whole smoke flavor in the summer time thing. It just didn't mix with me very well. Enough said on the turkey leg subject.

I know there are other things I want to do too, but these were just a few that I can think of off the top of my head.

-Shout "pheasant" and other words for no apparent reason at Splash Mountains' big drop.
-Hang a gigantic "Where is Greenban?" banner from Spaceship Earth.
-Ask Mickey "Can I bum a smoke?" while he's signing my daughters' autograph book.
-Scream in obvious, absolute terror thoughout It's a Small World.
-Read a novel just as they take the souvenir photo on Rock N' Rollercoaster.

Sorry, I couldn't resist. :) Resume normal, mature responses now...

Definitely on the list is

1. Relax and take the parks at an easy pace.

I’m labeled as a nut when we get to the parks and am out to prove to DW that I can take it easy. Especially since this is the first trip staying at WDW DVC accommodations and at our home resort BWV!

That being said, I do have a few; Maybe not “must sees”, but more “really would like to if it works out this trip sees”

In the new and/or never seen/experienced category
1. Lights Motors Action
2. Who wants to be a Millionaire
3. Lucky the Dinosaur
4. Rock N Roller Coaster
5. Member Block Party at Pleasure Island

In the been there, done that, wanna do it again category
1. Tarzan Rocks (especially since it’s closing and moving outta WDW)
2. Indiana Jones Stunt Show
3. Animation Tour
4. One Man’s Dream
5. Jungle Cruise
6. It’s a Small World

In the Dining areas, here’s where our Dinner PS’s are at
1. Le Cellier Dinner (return)
2. Boma Dinner (never been)
3. Concourse Steakhouse Dinner (never been)
4. Cinderella’s Royal Table Dinner (return)

Also want to do Soarin', and I've heard that Crush at the Living Seas is a don't miss for little kids.

Well, since DMIL is joining us for her first WDW trip, this really isn't the time to try too many new things! Just the CRT Princess Lunch. I've done CRT both breakfast and pre/character lunch before, so I think DMIL would enjoy this. Then a few solo days after DH and DMIL leave for: Strawberry Swirl at Enchanted Grove (I keep meaning to try one), first time as a solo at Sci-Fi Drive In.

Things we haven't done yet and DEFINITELY want to try sometime soon:

- Lion King show at AK
- Chef Mickey's
- Soarin'
- Extreme Stunts
- Typhoon Lagoon (Crush N Gusher)
- Expedition Everest (hopefully by next Feb)
- Pool Hop!

(I'm sure there are many things we just don't know about and would like to
do... this is the list I keep on my phone).

How in the H E double toothpicks do you guys get this cruise??! I've killed myself trying to and no luck!! Please tell me. I'm jealous.

Oh, and by the way:

All the new rides.

Garden Grill, but they changed it so I don't know if we'll like it now.

Get Station seats for Spectromagic.

Chef Mickeys

Pin station at DD

Typhoon Lagoon -- not just for the new slide

If our little one is doing better, Le Cellier

:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes Spend one day simply existing at WDW :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

I am actually over-booked! I have a pontoon boat-Wishes cruise reserved for Thursday 8/25 that I don't need. I'm about to cancel it through MS but am willing to offer it to a fellow Dis'er. Pm me if you want it.

Here's a thread all about the Illuminations cruise...http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=560160

And...I thought of one more:

Riding up front on the monorail so DD3goingon23 can "drive."

Never done that one.

On our next trip to VWL I WILL rent the mini speedboats! It's been way too long since I've done that, and it's something I really enjoy.

Bobbi :boat:

Yes, I second that, how do you book the illuminations cruz? What is Wake TINK????

I need to know that before I submit my list/

Waking Tinkerbell happens every morning in Tinkerbell's Treasure shop, just outside the castle.

It happens once a day at opening. A child is given a wand to tap on a bureau behind the counter to wake up Tinkerbell

Here's a thread with more details...http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=826124&highlight=wake+tink

We have never been first, looks like those with early morning PS's at the castle breakfast usually are the ones there early enough to have the pleasure.

DD's going on 11, would love to do it, but is beginning to feel its more appropriate for the very young crowd.
