what are you willing to pay retail for?

Eyeshadow - I buy drugstore makeup mostly, but nothing even comes close to Bobbi Brown's eyeshadow. It never goes on sale either. Occasionally I can find shades I like at the outlet mall, but it's so rare.

Running shoes - I run a lot. I buy my shoes from a specialty running store that rarely has discounts. Shoes are so important to prevent injury that I can't risk waiting around on a sale.

Also on the MAC make up bandwagon. I love the counter at Macy's here or Dillard's back home. They had an entire MAC store at one mall I was at in Florida. I don't mind the lipstick only for the swap of old containers. I've gotten some great new colors that way.

Other item I will buy full price is good toilet paper, either Charmin or Cottonelle. I prefer to buy it on sale but TP is non-negotiable at my house.

I will rarely, if ever, pay full retail for clothing or shoes.
