I thought on this special day, I would start a thread for people to share with their fellow DISer's what you are truly thankful for! We all know the DIS is at the top of the list for most if not all of us so really what are you thankful for.

I'll start:

Carolyn (MITCAM) in Boston is thankful for being blessed with a wonderful husband, 2 beautiful little boys and the health and spirit to enjoy my life! Oh yeah, I am thankful for Red Cardnals which represent my father who is not able to be with me but will forever fly with the birds!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE! May the peace and joy of the holidays be with you and yours.

Fondly,
The LeBlanc's

Thankful for my family--husband, daughter, parents, brothers and sisters, and all my nieces and nephews. All 22 of us leave on Sat. for our family reunion cruise on the Magic!!!!:Pinkbounc

i am thankful for my loving family and all the wonderful friends i have here on this board and im very thankful of DCL:sunny:  ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

As I wait for my inlaws to arrive (they are due at 4pm) I had time to check the boards.. been cooking for hours and all is set to go...
I am first off most thankful for my great husband and son! They make my life complete! I am next thankful for my awesome inlaws, they may be annoying from time to time but that is only because they love us so much. I am truely blessed to have them in my life. I am thankful for our little westie who loves us all so unconditionally, even if she does pee in the house from time to time no one could ask for a better dog! I am thankful that we are fortunate enough to be able to afford to cruise each year. It is is the highlight of my year, but for many people just having a warm bed is the highlight of their year. I am entirely thankful that so far this winter is nothing like last year. Last thanksgiving it was snowing and 20 degrees out. Right now it is 50 degrees,, seems more like Sept. than almost December. Finally I am thankful for my Dis friends, you all are great! Everyone have a happy thanksgiving!! Ann (and family)

I am with you Ann!

I am SO thankful for my wonderful DH - 7 years married 9 together:), my family, Alice the cat, my beautiful home, no debt, Disney, my awsome jobs as travel agent and pet-sitter and being able to travel so much!!!

but I'm thankful for having such a caring/supportive/loving boyfriend. We have been thru a lot this past year and he has stood by my side the entire time. He has even done the laundry, cooked and cleaned...he has been there when I have needed a little extra support...and has just listened to me B##$H (which I seem to be doing a lot lately...and mostly negative stuff...which he has tolerated well-better than I would have) He has let me be stressed-and does everything he can to make life not so stressful. He is truely a blessing and I love him for being so wonderful!

I could really get on top of the roof tops and scream how wonderful he is at the top of my lungs...but right now I will settle on telling all of you on this board!!!

...that my children are all healthy, smart, kind, funny and loving; that somehow, God led me to just the right person to share my life with and to raise a family with; that my mother is healthy and at peace during her first Thanksgiving without her spouse of 56 years; that my in-laws are healthy and happy, and wonderful in every way; that my sister (my best gal-friend) is happy in her life.
I'm thankful that there are men and women willing to serve overseas to help preserve our safety, and pray that God keeps them safe and comforts them and their families.

My list of Thankfuls is way too long to continue, so just know that I'm thankful, thankful, thankful, for such a wonderful life. I hope that you all are having as warm and special a day as it is for me.

Brenda

Thankful for my family especially my children, spouse, parents and siblings and their health. I am thankful for the ability to be able to stay home with my children and still enjoy the things we enjoy(DCL), and that there are wonderful selfless people in the world who provide for those who are unable to provide for themselves.
I hope everyone had a happy thanksgiving.

Am so very thankful for DH and DD16 and that we all are happy and healthy. Love the DIZ boards and everyone here who contributes. Happy Thanksgiving to all!!:D

I am thankful for the challenges I have faced in my life because they have given me the opportunity to become a better person.

I am thankful also for the blessings that I have been given so I have the ability to help those who don't have food, shelter, medical and education opportunities.

(I know, a day late --- but is it ever too late to be thankful?)

I'm thankful that my father in law who was hospitalized last week is starting to eat a little more and communicate with us a little more. I am thankful that I have such a patient and loving husband -- watching him tend to his Dad is so beautiful.

I am thankful that I have my friends here on the DIS that allow me to escape the stress of my life at the moment.

I am thankful that my husband and I are healthy and have the means to help take care of family and friends in need.

I am thankful for my loving wife of 28 years, Michelle. For my 2 healthy sons, my new daughter in law, my cruise on 12/6, and mostly, the birth on my first grandchild.
John

The love of a child, nothing else quite like it! Seems we all had a mention of quite a few in our thankful lists. Seems that they keep us in perspective and aware of what is truly important.

I am glad you all participated and hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Carolyn

I am most thankful for a loving and awesome God who would send his only Son to die for my sins so that I can live a thankful life everyday.

I pray that all who visit the DIS boards have a wonderful and blessed holiday season. Remember those who are in need and remember that the gift of Jesus is the reason for the season.
