and had first dibs but she had not even started it.
Anyway, I saw this one, and thought I'd try it. So far, I am having a hard time getting into it. I'll give it a little more time.I'm having a Susan Mallery lovefest these days, so I went to my favorite used paperback bookstore to get a bunch of her books. I read "Delicious", so now I was going to read "Irresistible" and "Tempting", which I thought were the other two in the series. Now I hear about "Sizzling". Help! I'm so confused about what books go with what in her series's. Anyways, next up-"Irresistible".

Looking forward to reading it.Finished VOYAGER today, and started DRUMS OF AUTUMN! Very excited. I peaked through to see what I'm in for and I see Brianna finds her way to mom and dad!Looking forward to reading it.

I'm only on the first book "Outlander" and am sooooooooooo addicted.
Don't know who Brianna is and don't want to
Is there any other series that rivals this and you recommend?
Thanks!!
Although, you'll figure it out soon enough.
I started reading it based on a customer's suggestion and haven't been disappointed in one book I've read. I will say that in Voyager, things got a little "long" and I forgot til it was mentioned why they were on their voyage.
Didn't mean I still didn't enjoy it, because I did. I'm only about 30 pages into DRUMS OF AUTUMN, but for some reason, I just couldn't focus this afternoon. The book is 800+ pages thick!
I think it was because I had hubby and son in living room and I just read better when it's only son and I and one of his Baby Einstein DVDs on or simply, son is either napping or down for bedtime. I read nearly 100 pages one night and wasn't aware of it til the next day.
The books are just that darn good.
I started the 3rd book of the Shopaholic series this morning after downloading to my Kindle from an Amazon gift card![]()
I loved this series! All of Sophie Kinsella's books are very entertaining! I love her writing style!!![]()
I really like her books as well. The "bakery sisters" series were fun reads!
That series went:
Delicious, Irresistible, Sizzling, Tempting
Check out this link for all her older books

Has anyone here read The Lost City of Z by David Grann? I really want to read it.
I just finished The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan. I liked The Kitchen God's Wife a lot better.
Today I started The Lacuna by Barbara Kingsolver.

You are a better person than I am for having finished The Double Bind. It lost me at the beginning with all the references to Heathcliff and Daisy. My librarian had recommended it to me and told me how it ends when I told her I wouldn't finish it.Finished "The Double Bind" by Chris Bojahlian last night. The ending was supposed to be a shocker, but I was just confused. I had to read the last chapter over again to get it straight in my mind. Then I kept thinking about holes in the plot...
Just started "The Art of Racing in the Rain."
