That's too bad, I generally enjoy Heather Graham. This one is loaded on my Kindle for future reading.

This was my first Heather Graham book, so I really don't know what's she's usually like. However you look at it, fortunately or unfortunately, all mysteries I'm forever comparing to the In Death series. An unbreakable habit:rotfl:

THat's funny because I quit that series years ago. In fact I've slowed way back on Nora Roberts, along with James Patterson. Heather Graham had a series a few months back (one book a month) that was pretty good, that's how I found her, I think they all had Deadly in the title. Supernatural twists in each, main characters were three brothers (think Nora Roberts series). SHe has written several that involve an agency that involves people with psychic abilities. Very light reading, quick, mindless.

I'm reading Visions in Shadows or something like that its anew Christina Dodd series. i have the fist 2 books. I'm liking it so far.

I can't quit the series LOL:lmao: I have tried to wean myself off of it. I just can't do it. I have successfully stopped buying hardbacks though, and am now able to actually not buy the paperback on the first day its out. That way I'm not waiting so long for the next book. I have to have my Eve Dallas. :rotfl:

As for Nora's other books, they kind of run hot and cold for me. Its odd to me that i like her JD Robb titles better most times. I'm going to finish the brides series though. The next 1 comes out on the the 26th i think.

Thanks for the Bruce Campbell title. He is so funny! I really loved him in Evil Dead 2! Seriously one of my favorite movies! So gross and funny!

Your welcome. I am long past my horror days but I really do have to check out the Evil Dead series after reading this. He is really funny. I loved him in Hercules/Zena and kicked myself for missing the 1st season of Burn Notice because i didn't know he was in it. If I'd have known, I'd watched a lot earlier:lmao:

OK, so I just found out I'm wrong. This was my 2nd book by her. I was cleaning up in my bedroom getting some laundry together and I found the other book I've read. Killing Kelly. I think this 1 was better that Unhallowed ground, and nothing supernatural.

Can't read that one, that's my 14 year old daughters name, lol. Try that deadly series, from the library even, one's called Deadly gift I think. I remember one of them has a banshee for the main female character........ I kid you not.

Hope the group doesn't mind this sort of OT post :upsidedow

I hope I remembered correctely that some of you have an e-reader (Kindle or Sony)? If so could you please chime in what you like or don't like about the device? DF is asking for present ideas and this may be the one :goodvibes

I love my kindle (aka My Precious!) and have about 11 pages of books in there. I got it a year ago and still am on the first battery- I end up charging it about once a week. I have in a pinch gone on line with it on a car trip to find an address and look up a menu but usually don't have the Whispernet on unless downloading a new book (and it really takes about 1 minute). I love the option to get a sample of a book to try first because sometimes you read a bit and just "know" it isn't for you despite reviews.

I have the Kindle 1 version; friends have the 2 and seem to really enjoy theirs too. One just took it on a 2 week Hawaiian cruise and saved a lot of luggage space taking hers.:thumbsup2 I also enjoy the print size adjustment availability. I take mine to every appointment I have. I also get alot of classics to have; the older the book the cheaper it is. The entire Bible was about 1 dollar I think. You can search Kindle books by price and look around to get some free and very cheap good books.

We're heading up to Borders today and I want to start a new series. I'm thinking maybe Peter and the Starcatchers ~ have any of you read this/have an opinion? Thanks! :)

Kindle 2 owner chiming in here, I love mine too! Especially the font size adjustment and the sheer size of the thing.

I love my SONY! I have 26 books on there now. Love the library feature too. It is very reliable, read at night in bed, no problems downloading books. Thumbs up! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I just cannot get motivated to read anything right now! I have Shutter Island, the new Clive Cussler, Doomsday Key , and a bunch of freebies as well. I started "The Presence" by Heather Graham, but have just been too busy to pick it up. I did order a new M Edge cover Saturday, maybe once I replace this lime green one (what was I thinking?) I'll be motivated again!

I finished reading, Nowhere to Run, by Mary Jane Clark. It was good and suspenseful. I really enjoyed it! I am starting, Dear John, by Nicholas Sparks tonight. Thanks to the poster that recommended it. It looks good. :)

I am currently reading New Moon and I have to say, I don't like it half as much as Twillight......Is this the norm? Did you guys like it as much as the first one?

I am 1/2 way through the book.....Am I expecting too much?

Which in the series is your fav book?

Maybe I am just too tired with our flooded basement to really appreciate it.

That was my opinion and the opinion of everyone that I know who read the series. Keep with it. Books 3 and 4 were great too. 4 was just as good as 1 to me.:goodvibes

I am reading Fire by Kristin Cashore. It is a prequel to Graceling. So far it is really good but I love her style.
