I am reading Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin, first time reading it! Love it.

middlesex but I amthinking about giving it up.
Just finished, The Mirror Cracked, by Agatha Christie. I really enjoyed it. Nice twist at the end too. Next, I think I'll read, Thirteen for Dinner, by Agatha Christie.
I loved "The Mirror Cracked"
I just started "A Widow For One Year" by John Irving.
I have never read any of his work, but the guy at the bookstore told me he is a great author and thought I would enjoy the book.

Speaking of authors who kill off their main characters (ie Patricia Cornwall), does anybody here read Elizabeth George? She has ruined her series for me by doing that!!
Happy reading everybody!!![]()
I'm "reading" (aka listening in my car) to Emma, which I haven't read before. I don't consider myself the average girly girl, and I never thought I'd like Jane Austen, but I must admit that I absolutely love those novels of hers I've read so far.
I am just starting Pride and Prejudice. I saw the movie a few days ago and now want to read itI agree, I consider myself average and I am in love with her books! I love the language and romance!
I recently read Middlesex. It certainly wasn't a fast moving book, but it was interesting. I am glad that I finished it.
Well, it was actually very intriguing to me. There were many parts of the book that made me really think.Glad you finsihed it.
Beause you didn't have to read it anymore, or because it was good, or just for the acomplishment.
It actually is beautifully written, I just don't think I can make it!!
