I just finished My Fair Lazy by Jen Lancaster. I loved it! I'm such a huge fan of hers though. She always makes me laugh.

Next up is the Dangerous Days of Daniel X by James Patterson. I'm not exactly looking forward to it because it got bad reviews but it's short and I needed an "X" book for the A to Z challenge.

I also love Jen Lancaster's books. I am going to add this one to my list. :thumbsup2

8 Days to Live by Iris Johansen was very good. :thumbsup2

I finished The Perfect Husband by Lisa Gardner today. Almost to the end, realized that I had already read this book a long time ago. That's okay though, it was as thrilling and hard to put down as the first time.

I finished "A Trip to the Beach" and really liked it! I've never really gotten in to non-fiction, but this one was really good!

Next up is "Heat." So far, it's pretty good. It's another non-fiction, and not something I would have chosen myself, but it was recommended by someone here, so I'm giving it a try!

I finished Tender Graces and Secret Graces by Kathryn Magendie. I thought they both were very good and I loved the characters!
Yesterday I started A Fortunate Life by A.B. Facey. It's an autobiography written by an Australian writer 8 months before his death at age 88.

I started The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton.
So Far I'm loving it!

Today I started reading "Kane & Abel" by Jeffrey Archer. I'm not very far into it yet, so don't know what I think of it. I read Red Pyramid a week or so ago, and thought it was cute, I'm sure my kids will enjoy it, as it moved quickly. We are also reading the Alyss Heart series, sorry, I don't remember who it is written by off the top of my head. I also recently read book 3 of the Bride Quartet by Nora Roberts. I thought it was very good, I enjoy the camaraderie between the 4 women. I have been given Hannah's List by Debbie Macomber, but was told it wasn't as good as many of hers. Just finished Roadside Crosses yesterday.

Another cozy mystery Hooked on Murder by Betty Hechtman

Eating Animals by Jonathan Safran Foer.

Just started Imperfect Birds by Anne Lamont. So far, so good!

I've read Summer Light by Luanne Rice over this last week. It's about a hockey player, a wedding planner and her little girl.

I've begun Weekend Warriors by Fern Michaels. It's book 1 of a series about a secret organization of women who take revenge on the people who have done something wrong to them. It's a fairly large series so I'm sure they help others do the same. Sort of a secret vigilante group I guess. I will find out.

Dark Harvest - by Karen Harper.. It's the second of a 3-book series - Amish mysteries.. Pretty good books..

At the same time, I'm reading an Amish non-fiction book - "Amish Ways".. Very, very interesting..:goodvibes

I'm reading a few books from the Images of America series for towns in my area.

I also recently borrowed The Road by Cormac McCarthy from someone at work.

Just finished "Under the Dome" by Stephen King- reminded me of "The Stand".. More like the old King I know and love :thumbsup2

I also read "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter".. The title and gory cover peaked my interest. The book is actually pretty good.:thumbsup2

I just started I Know This Much is True by Wally Lamb - its pretty interesting so far

One of my favorite authors... I've read all of his books. I Know This Much is True is gut wrenching in parts. Some of my friends couldn't finish it, too heavy. I've read it multiple times. I thought at one point they were going to make a movie out of his other book ,She's Come Undone, but I never heard anything else about it.

I like him too. I enjoyed both books. I thought he did an amazing job writing a woman's perspective in, She's Come Undone.

I'm re-starting, Winter Garden. I was juggling too many books.:upsidedow
I also have the book, This Is Why You Are Fat, I'm interested in getting some tips. I don't think I'm fat, but I could stand to loose another 10 lbs..

So I've finished Weekend Warriors by Fern Michaels. I think I'll read book 2. I want to find out what they do to the next person.

But at the moment I'm reading Burned by PC Cast and someone else I can't remember at the moment. It's number something or other in the House of Night series. My daughter read it and at the end she said "there's going to be another one??????!!!!!!". :rotfl: I think that she is ready for this series to end.

I have an advance copy of The passage by Justin Cronin. Vampire apocalypse novel that comes out on the 8th.

It is Awesome!
