We always go out to dinner on Saturday nights...since the weather is starting to cool off, a nice cozy Italian dinner sounds wonderful!

It was cute. Probably my least favorite Disney/Pixar movie BUT it wasn't bad either. It is just the others were so great. I thought it could be funnier.

That is just my personal opinion though. Mo really liked it and I guess that is all that matters.

I had leftover chicken stew, so I threw in more veggies, topped with Bisquick and made a chicken pot pie. It was really good!

For dessert we had slice & bake peanut butter and sugar cookies.

I know this will not sound very good to some people, but I had lima beans and brown rice mixed with cream of chicken mushroom soup. DH is not feeling well, so dinner was impromtu tonight for me - but I love both of these items and they just sounded good (and DH won't eat them, so it seemed perfect to eat it while he is sick).

You guys have no idea how much you helped me with this thread! Because of this thread, I got up and started dinner early. (Thank you!) I had a lot of leftover chicken stew and just went to work!

Well, we had family come and visit right at dinner time! Yikes! Luckily, I had dinner in the oven, plenty of it and smelling great!!

And to think, when I was reading the DIS, I wasn't even thinking about dinner.

* Glad my leftover story helped, Beanie. I hate to see good food go to waste.

P.S.- The only thing that would've made dinner better was to have vanilla ice cream to put between the cookies! Yum!

I was running errands, discovered I would be way past dinner time by the time I was finished, and picked up a heat-n-eat Chinese combo (ginger beef and fried rice) from the grocery store. Now what I want to know is WHAT ON EARTH WAS I THINKING?!? I'm prone to migraines, I had a headache at the time, and I actually chose to eat something laden with MSG?!?

I made Corn chowder, cooked all day while I too was at the Incerdibles.

I was the only one that ate it Kids had MC Donalds, ( had to get those Incerdibles prizes)

DD had subway.
and dh and ds10 had Friendlys.
Extreme dinner dysfunction, I enjoyed my chowder though!

We had Fazoli's. DH was supposed to set out the chicken to thaw while I was at work, and didn't, so we ate out.

I love their breadsticks - yum.
