What are you favorite sides/dips for Thanksgiving?

I like a sweet appetizer choice. We make a fruit ball. It's 2 pkg of cream cheese softened, 2 cans fruit cup drained (I removed the grapes) and a pkg of instant vanilla pudding. Shape in a ball, chill. We put crushed walnuts on the outside. You could use any nut or none if allergy concerns. I buy mini vanilla wafers to dip with. It's a big hit with all ages and is good leftover.

I have seen something in my social media called a Buttercream Board that I'd really like to do. Of course, it involves being able to pipe frosting, but you could make some nice seasonal buttercream flavors and compliment it with treats that go with with holiday. I've seen some really elegant looking ones on reels, but most of what I'm finding is more holiday specific.

Buttercream 1- Cream cheese pumpkin spice
Buttercream 2- Cranberry rosemary
Various Plain Cookies (Shortbread, sugar, wafers, etc.)
Pretzels
Mini Donuts
Fruit (strawberries and grapes might be best)
Metallic dragees is seasonal colors for added pop

Avocado and goat cheese with lemon juice, salt, pepper, and cayenne (can adjust spices to taste, I see recipes online that use cumin instead of cayenne)

Reuben dip - this can get expensive because of the corned beef (we stock up a bit around St. Patrick's day when there are sales), but it's delicious

Taco dip - mix cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning. Top with salsa and shredded Mexican blend cheese.
