What are you dressing up as for MNSSHP?

We've decided to go and now I am racking my brain to think of costumes. My 6 yo was Tinkerbell last year for Halloween and Minnie Mouse the year before so I think I've got her set with one of those. My son is a major Mickey fan (I mean HUGE) and was Mickey 2 years ago (when dd was Minnie). It was the costume from Disney Store, kinda heavy. I'd love to use that. How perfect would that be for my Mickey fan to dress as Mickey but I'm afraid he'll be roasting in the costume. We're going Sept 29th. Any idea if it gets cooler at night late Sept? I also have a almost 9 yo dd who I can't think of anything for her to be. I've searched the internet for princess costumes but I can't find much at all that's not for toddlers or up to 6X. Are there any sites that have good quality costumes in size 10/12?
And then there's me and dh. We haven't dressed up in at least 10 years. Any ideas that aren't over the top? Dh isn't the type to dress up as Goofy or anything. But I want to dress up rather than just Halloweeny shirts. Preferably something coordinating. I'd LOVE to do something with all of us coordinating. That'd be fun.

Any suggestions? And what is everyone else going as?

When we to Mickey's Halloween Treat last year in Disney's California Adventure, we (two late-twenty-something-year-old guys) dressed as painters. We had those paper cover-alls which we threw paint on and paper shoe covers and we carried empty paint cans to put the candy in. It was fun. I also made a sign with "This area is being refurbished for your future enjoyment" and it stuck to my chest. This year we are going to MNSSHP and I have been trying to come up with ideas for costumes.

Still not sure what the children will be but the adults in our party are going to be local sports players. Pretty much just jersey/tshirts but one is going to be a New England Patriot, one Boston Bruin and one a Boston Red Sox. We figured it would show a little about us, be comfortable and 'coordinating'. Would your DH go for something like that?

The painters idea sounds cute! There was one DIS'er who posted photos of herself dressed up as the Bride from the Haunted Mansion, complete with a red, beating heart!
We're still unsure what we're going to be..but my DH says he really wants to wear the pirate costume he wore the last time, but wants me to get him the Jack Sparrow wig and he's trying to convince me to wear my pirate costume again, too.
My 13 yo DD wants to be Tinkerbell (''cause she'd never be Tinkerbell up here in the neighborhood!) and 12 yo DD wants to be a SK8ter girl, but I told her that's a costume for the neighborhood.

This is tough!!! As my husband would say, it's like I'm trying to diffuse a bomb or something :badpc:

DD5 will be Ariel (Halloween costume from last year that I got at the Disney Store...shoes and all.) DS7 will be Yoda that I ordered off Ebay for $9. I wanted costumes that could be warm or cool since the weather is unpredictable. I haven't decided about DH and me, though...maybe just Halloween t-shirts, or just regular street clothes???
