What are you doing today??

What are you doing today? the big day after?? Every year, our street has a ball hockey game where everybody meets, plays a liitle hockey, drinks some beverages and brings a potluck dish. It's always a good time to connect with the neighbours since on the winter months we don't really see each other as much. What do you do?? Oh, and we also take down the tree.

We are going for a looooooong winter walk with the kids and the dog. Then we are going to the inlaws for tea and a "test run" for the dog. They will likely be dog-sitting while we are at GWL in a couple of weeks.

I spent a week purging and cleaning my house, I need a break before school starts again on Monday!

Well, being Scottish we all get together at my aunt's house in the afternoon.. and then we have haggis, steak pie, neeps and tatties.
We play some games and have a fun time.

We had a snow day. We didn't even get to mass! The plows were taken off the roads, I can imagine that nothing much was happening anywhere on the Island today. We didn't even bother attempting to shovel out as the storm is not yet over. I guess if it's a little calmer in the morning, we'll have to get up quite early to dig out! Our front porch is almost filled in with snow. My nieces and nephews have been calling it a waste of a storm, as there would have been no school had it been a school day.
