Another cold and windy day here in S. Jersey. the temp will feel like 15 here today with those winds! OK had enough of winter like most of you. Here it is 7:00am and I already have the wash started, my furbabies already had their breakfast, and I am sitting here enjoying a cup of coffee and :surfweb: .

DD left yesterday to go back to college, today I've decided to start my Spring cleaning! :sunny: Make something good for dinner... :stir: and watch The Oscar's tomorrow night.

Everyone have a great weekend! :goodvibes

Good Morning MsDisney23. My Furbabies are feed, and the coffee is on :surfweb: and DD just got up singing "It's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow".

We are have gorgeous FL weather today - and by the looks of it for the next 5 days at least - everyone come on down! :sunny:

Today is my DD's 9th birthday. We are having a quiet birthday celebration this year - no big kids party, first year that we have not!:bday:

Today we have plans to go to the movies to see Aquamarine :fish:and go to Marble Slab for Birthday Cake Ice Cream :cake: . Probably a little shopping at Target with birthday money. Just a DM and DD day. She choose it this way - I had told her we could bring a friend.

Tomorrow we are going to "brunch" at 1900 Park Fare. :cool1: We have invited a friend and her parents that have never been to a character meal, but who enjoy Disney and have APs (good planning - so they can join us in MK afterward!)pixiedust:

I am really looking forward to both "celebrations" -

BTW - my houe desparately needs to be cleaned and laundry done - but doesn't look like it is happening this weekend.

Was aroused from bed an hour ago by our DS throwing up-that means our weekend plans went right down the toilet with it.

New weekend plan-go to Kroger for sprite, mylanta, etc, and watch UK earn a first round bye in the SEC tourney by beating Florida!!

Spring Cleaning- , I've got to wash some windows. I love clean windows.

My DH left early this morning to catch up on some things at his office. :sad2: He works too hard.

DD9 has her last basketball game today. :cheer2:
DS11 has his 1st baseball practice of the season today. This makes my DH walk on air! :cloud9:
DS3 as usual is along for the ride.

Tonight we're going to the Volunteer Fire Dept.'s annual BBQ at the high school. :firefight I know it sounds corny but it is a huge event in our community.

It is so much fun to see friends that we don't see on a weekly basis. My DD9's Jr. Girl Scout troop is having a Cookie Booth at the BBQ. We hope to sell the last 200 boxes. :Pinkbounc

We're picking up our new to us golf cart today!! I can't wait to ride it around Ft Wilderness!! Also doing grocery shopping and getting some movies to watch.

We are having an all family celebration for my daughter's 12 birthday. She had a sleepover with her friends last week. These birthday celebrations keep getting longer and longer! Tomorrow will be church and resting after the hosting today!

I crawled out of bed at 7 am and put on a pot of coffee. I'll be headed out shortly to a handbell festival, which is similar to a band camp for handbell ringers. We'll play most of the morning and early afternoon, and end with a run through of the pieces for family (and anyone else that might be interested).

After that DH and I are headed for the Home Show.

Tomorrow is church, handbell practice, play practice, and finally, the Oscars. :simba:

I'm excited about this weekend!

Yesterday was dd's Adoption Day (the anniversary of the day she came from South Korea to be placed in our arms). Our schedule didn't permit a dinner out yesterday, so we are going out today.

Dd picked The Rain Forest Cafe. :thumbsup2 We can all pretend that we are in Animal Kingdom! It's a great Disney fix. After we eat, we are going to go home and watch her airport video. I cry every time we see it.

Also, I plan on doing some stuff around the house. Life was crazy last week, and I have some organizing to do.

I hope you all have a good weekend.

Yesterday was my fun day. I went bowling with my friends and then one of them had to go to this indie movie for extra credit and got more if he could get people to go with him. Yeah, it was so boring.

Today I have to work 5-9. But first must go to old navy to fetch more work pants. And tomorrow I'm working from 10-2:30. Ahhh, but it's all going to be worth it when I get that paycheck :teeth:

Enjoy your special event.... and you gave me a great idea - lunch at Rainforest cafe and a movie at DTD....DD would love that she loves Rainforest. I think I will surprise her with that, just tell her when we leave the house we are going to the theater at our Town Center!

In a few minutes we're going to DD 10, last basketball game. This afternoon is her last indoor lacrosse game. Tonight we will go to see Aquamarine and tomorrow is soccer.

Our son is a freshman in college 300 miles from home. He is home for a long weekend - YAY!

Last night we went to Outback for dinner, came home and watched "Walk the Line" together. Today we are going to do some shopping and he will go out with his girlfriend tonight.

It's been great to have him home. He was home for Christmas, of course, and he will be home again for a week over Easter. It's been difficult getting used to the "empty nest", but we are handling it.

We, too, are celebrating our "Family Day". Ours is next weekend, but since he won't be home, we are celebrating this weekend. It's been 19 years since he arrived from South Korea. He is truly a gift and I am thankful every day :)

Cleaning the house, running errands , sewing costumes for the school musical ( I have to make lymphocyte costumes! ), and maybe if I'm lucky I'll get to soak in my whirlpool tub and then take a nap :)

DD(4) has a birthday party today. I also need to clean and do laundry. :wave2:

Taking my Mom shopping this morning.
Doing lesson plans and grading papers.
Celebrating birthdays with DH and sons tomorrow. Going out to brunch! :goodvibes

I have a date with the library today  When I finish there it's nap time, then hockey game tonight (UNH vs BC) with most of the kids from my floor. We have to win tonight for home ice for the playoffs, and BC is a very good team...
Tomorrow I'll study all day (well... I'll try to...) for the two tests I have on Monday

tons and tons of homework..
but t oday i get a little break--my 2 and a half month old niece is coming over so i can babysit her :)

Lets see:

1. Laundry needs to be done which means I will start it Sunday afternoon :)
2. Watch movies, probably all 6 Starwars ones
3. Start planning my 12/27-1/14 New Years 2006 trip. The cool thing is most of these days off will come from this years vacation time, so I will only have to use 5 days of my 2007 vacation to make this work :woohoo: :woohoo: . As others leave on vacation I keep reminding myself that I have 3 weeks off comming up in 9 months. The problem is I have no idea where I want to go, but planning is always half the fun.

I am working tonight. Today, I have to do laundry, change the sheets on my bed, and pack for my trip to Paris...I leave on Wednesday and I haven't even opened a suitcase yet.....
