By the International Gateway there is a shop that sells umbrella strollers for I believe $50. Does anyone know who makes them and have a picture of them? I believe I read a while ago that there were people raving about how good they were. We're going down again in 2 weeks and don't want to lug the large stroller around but would prefer an umbrella type stroller that has a shade and a basket in the bottom (the umbrella's we have don't). If not, could somebody recommend a similar umbrella stroller for around the same amount? I don't really want to purchase a $200 MacClaren (sp). I was looking online at Mia Moda but a lot of people seemed to have issues with them. Any thoughts would be appreciated. TIA

I believe it is a Kolcraft. If that's not correct it is something that is very similar. We bought one a couple of years back while we were down there. It's easy to push and steers pretty well. It doesn't have a very big sunvisor at all(but I'm not sure many umbrella strollers do.) It also doesn't have a basket at the bottom, but it has a mesh bag on the back of the seat. It didn't really suit our needs at Disney because DS is still young. We were able to get a Combi Flex that was a floor model at Babies R Us for $80 and are still using it. If it helps any, I checked the Kolcraft website and the Tour Sport looks very close to the one you are talking about.

I don't know how old your child is but I bought a lightweight stroller in BabiesRUs for only $35. Has a basket, visor, parent tray and front tray....plus it reclines! However...any child over 40lbs will make it difficult to steer through crowds. When DD was under 2yrs old...and under 30lbs...it was fine!

BTW- It's a BabyTrend model.

I'm a stroller-a-holic and swear by my Maclaren Volo. We'll be doing Disney in Feb with a (turning) 5, 6.5 and 8 y/o and it's the 1 thing I won't leave home without. It folds up small, can be slung over your shoulder, and currently we can wheel around our 7 y/o without any issues even though he's above the weight limit. Not to mention it has a pretty decent basket and large (for an umbrella style at least) canopy. Anyhow, enough raving. You can get the Volo at pretty good deals if you don't have to have this years color. Baby Dealz has the flame orange (mostly light gray) on sale for 79.99 shipped free, powder pink is 84.99 and the crimson or turquoise are both 89.99.

Ditto! Worth the $, IMO. Also try babye-store.com for the 2007's on sale for $69.99 Free ship on the orange, crimson and pink. I bought the orange and I think it's really cute- and is more silver/gray than orange!

Now, this photo is a YEAR old.. but I do have a photo of the umbrella stroller in EPCOT. Granted it's folded up, I don't have a photo of anyone using it... the little gold sign on the top reads $49.95!
