of getting into a 2 bedroom from the waitlist.

We will be in WDW from Aug. 11-16. We are in a studio and 1 bedroom for the 11th into the 12th. Checking out of BWV and checking back in to the BWV 2 bedroom for the 12th, 13th, 14th. Then on the 15th checking out of the 2 bedroom and checking into a Studio and a 1 bedroom. Seems a little crazy but I wanted to be on the Boardwalk.

I am on the waitlist at the Boardwalk and Beach Club for a 2 bedroom for the entire stay.

Are my chances good ?

Should I email Guest services and beg?

Call and see if there is any change in the waitlist?


We have never been on the waitlist so it's new to us.
Guidance would be appreciated.

Begging won't help. As the list is equal to all, as it should be. If something comes open and you are next on the list you will get it. You can call and check on it, but it won't improve your chances.
It's just a wait and see situation.

Good luck, you have several weeks left, something might open up.

Just remember that the wait lists is wiped out and a new one started at 30 days out and at 7 days out, no more wait list at all.

Begging is not in good form but calling to ask how things look won't hurt. Sometimes people get lucky by doing that.

So let's make sure I've got this straight: you don't have the BWV 2BR for the first or the last night of your stay (instead you have a studio plus 1BR).

In this situation, I think the waitlist will work better if you only waitlist the nights of the 11th and 15th (two seperate waitlist entries) for 2BR BWV, rather than the whole time. BCV, keep the 2BR waitlist for the whole time period (tho this unlikely to come to fruition). I expect that you ought to be able to get one or both of the nights you want at BWV, and even if you don't, you're covered since you have the studio plus 1BR.

And remember, there is a brand new wait list starting at the 30 day mark, tho this is dangerous bcs any points saved thru this method will go into the dreaded "Holding Account". So at that point you might want to stay put. You might wan to call and beg on day n-31 (so July 11th and July 15th).
