I booked through Disney Travel, what are the odds they take my reservation and say, " We'd like to upgrade you to one of the Disney Resort Hotels"
Wouldn't that be cool!!

That would be nice!

Unfortunately, it won't happen. If you are paying for a "Good Neighbor", that money goes to that property chain. Disney just can't take it away and give it to their own hotels.

Now if you booked into a Disney Hotel to begin with, you could get upgraded to a better category of room....
