What are the must have's for Reception?

Ladies
Now that we are in the process of getting things organized. What menu items are a MUST? I have heard so many great ideas for dinner but I would love your expertise. We are having it at Epcot but the Planner told me that we can pretty much get anything. Is this true? Thank you

yes this is pretty much true esp. if you are in Epcot and want something from one of the restaraunts. The canadian chedder soup is a big hit. We are having them whip up goat cheese ravioli for us somewhat like the california grill because that is our favorite restaraunt in disney. For entree we are doing a filet with lobster tail and tarragon beurre balnc sauce.

Many people have brought Disney recipes or ideas and it seems they are very open minded. Good luck and remeber Disney can cook up a storm so no matter what the food is going to taste good

Thanks for starting this thread up- I really need advice, too!
I am going for my food tasting in less than a month and we have no idea what we want- especially when it comes to choosing appetizers/cocktail hour foods!

I found them to be very flexible and accomodating with menu options!

Just tell them what you want and they will see what they can do!

i have noticed that at epcot hey allow you to choose our food is this true in regular ballroom locations

We are at the Boardwalk ans for our tasting we are able to pick whatever we want!
