We have a group of 16 ...

We will all try to eat together 1 TS ...

Then 11 of us will try to eat together the other TS ...

What are the chances of us doing any of this?

Is it better for one of us to call for ADR for all 11 ... or each party call for their own ADR and hope for close times?

These are ADRs we are considering...

Whispering Canyon -- all 16
Tony's

Party of 11 :
TRex
1900 Park Fare
Chef Mickey's
Rainforest Cafe
Hoop de Doo
Teppan Edo

I will be so happy when Jun 2nd rolls around and we have these ADRs made !!

And what would happen I the person who made the ADR for everyone couldn't go ?

I;m pretty sure you'll have to call for the party of 16 res so you may as well make all of the reservations at the same time.

For Rainforest and Trex you can call the restaurants directly since they only release a small number of their ressies to Disney.

Hoop De Doo is a fully prepaid reservation, but some people have posted that you can charge it to more than one cc so you might want to have the other families' cc info with you. If some decide not to attend be sure to have the cc holder call to get a refund.

For 1900 Park Fare you will need to give cc info as a no show guarantee. If at least one person shows up for the res you will not be charged for those who didn't show up.

If the person making the reservations can't go, just make sure the rest of the party know whose name the res is in so they can give it to the CM at the check in podium.

There's no guarantee that your party will be seated together, but the CMs at the Disney restaurants do their best. If you decide to make some of the reservations on line you have a better chance of being seated together if your res is when the restaurant first starts seating for that meal. For Hoop de Doo it sounds like tables are assigned a few days in advance and tables can be arranged to accommodate large groups.
