What Are The Chances?

We are booked in a 1BR at OKW for 5 nights and then a 2BR at BCV for 6 nights. We are thinking of trying to change the OKW reservation to a 2BR. In order to do this we would have to drop the first night of the BCV ressie and try to book that night at OKW, hopefully using the summer discount. This would free up enough points to change the 5 nights at OKW from a 1 to 2 BR. If we were able to do this, what are the chances we would be able to stay in the same villa at OKW for the last night?

My understanding is that cash and point reservations are separate and they can't be linked. You will be at the mercy of the room assigner if it is even possible with the new software.

Reservations made throguh the regular Disney cash system and the DVC system can't be fully linked, so it would likely require you to check-out and check-in again. Let the front desk know what you are wanting to do when you first check-in, and they may be able to keep you in the same room. Another option would be to book any cash nights throguh DVC Member Services, and hopefully get the 25% discount off of rack rate. Those reservations should be able to be linked.
