at disney the best rides in terms of heart pumping are:

Tower of Terror (at Disney Hollywood Studios).
Rock N Roller Coaster (Disney Hollywood Studios)
Expedition Everest (Animal Kingdom)
Splash Mountain (only the last drop will fit your definition, but i LOVE this ride) - (magic kingdom)
Space Mountain - (Magic Kingdom)

That's all i can think of at WDW that fits your definition.

In IOA you have got Hulk, Dualling Dragons and Spiderman, although Ripsaw Falls and Popeye n Blutos Barges are great if you like water rides. UStudios has The Mummy, Twister, T2 and probably Disaster although I cant say for that one as it wasnt opened last time we went. For pure fun factor dont forget The Simpsons and Men in Black!

I reckon that Test Track, Soarin and Mission Space (orange) at EPCOT are worth a mention too.

best rides

IOA - Duelling Dragons, The Hulk, Spiderman, both water rides.
Universal Studios - Revenge of the Mummy, Twister.

Disney Parks

Tower of Terror, Expedition Everest, Rock and Roller Coaster, All the mountains (space, slash, big thunder), mission space

If you want more thrills go to busch gardens, they have

Sheikra, montu, kumba, gwazi, rhino rally etc.

if you havent been before try everything once if you can.

Ta very much any in universal?

I LOVE Revenge of the Mummy at universal- roller coaster, darkness and fire!! brilliant ride :thumbsup2

DR. Doom, Dueling Dragons, The Hulk at IOA are also v good

oh right - i forgot about Mission Space at Epcot- a truly outstanding ride....

test track and soarin are fun, but not heart pumping..

at animal kingdom there's also kali river rapids and dinosaur, but i wouldn't define them as heart pumping...but they are fun....
same goes for big thunder mountain at the magic kingdom...

Sort of agree with this except twister which we found pretty tame and rhino rally didn't get the heart rate up much.

Don't forget Kraken at Seaworld as well if you're there.

My teenage lads love Universal and Islands the best. In particular at Universal - The Mummy and Men in Black. At Islands all the rides except the Dr Suess ones.

I would take Twister off your Universal list (agree with JR, its pretty lame!) and replace it with The Simpsons Ride which is better than Spidey in my opnion.

I agree with Simon06 - if you have time then go to Busch Gardens as they have some really good rides. It's only an hour and you can get a coach directly from Universal, Seaworld etc.

It really is worth the trip - me & my DH always go once every time we go to florida. :thumbsup2

Oh wow - I can't wait to do the Simpsons ride in December then....I love love love the spidey ride! :thumbsup2

Try It's a Small World, it makes my DS15 heart pump:rotfl2:

Then again that might be because I force him to go on it - and threaten to show his mates the pictures:rotfl2:

Thanks for all the info folk i'm sure that will help my DD plan our theme park attacks!!!

Hi there!

I love the thrill rides at Busch - Sheikra is AMAZING if you are in the front row, I just can't begin to explain the adrenalin rush from that one! But there are lots of fantastic rides at Busch so it's well worth the drive there!

In Orlando I think the best are:

Rock N Roller Coaster at DHS
Mission Space at EPCOT
Mummy at Universal
Hulk at IOA
Spiderman IOA
Duelling Dragons IOA
Space Mountain at MK
Expedition everest is also great at AK
