In 12 trips we have never been to Kissimmee. Our son loved the go carts at Fun Spot in IDrive last year so have got him a season pass for this year which includes Kissimmee location. Long way to go just for go carts so can anyone recommend good restaurants in that area. Our favourites are Longhornes, Cheesecake Factory, Carrabba's and Toojays so you can see the type of stuff we like. Would be good to try something brand new.

I have replied to your other thread .

Will you have a car ?

If you will have one then more info can be given .

Let your real Florida holiday start .

If you are down at Kissimmee then you are close to Celebration which has several really good restaurants. Town Tavern, Antonios and the restaurant in the hotel are all good. For a day time meal the Market Street Cafe has a good menu.

Also stop for an ice cream at Kilwins (I think that's what it's called)

Thank you, hadn't thought about Celebration. Went there once in 2006 on our second trip. Had ice cream, maybe at the same place.

We enjoy a trip to Market st cafe each visit.
Opp old town is Logans Roadhouse, never had a bad meal there.
Along 192 there are 100's of places, all the regulars like Carrabba's, Texas Roadhouse etc.

Agreed with both of these guys, we love to spend a morning or evening in Celebration.

Good breakfast in the Cafe and the Tavern is nice in the evenings, we'll be planning to try some of the other places on our next trip, they all look good.

At Kilwins, only get the small ice creakm, they are still huuuuge cones!

I like Sweet Tomato and Giordano's Pizza both are on the 192, depending what type of food you like there's lot's of other options on the 192

Thanks for all your replies. Looking forward to trying something new if we can drag ourselves away from our favourites!!!

Our favourite in Celebration is the Columbia restaurant. Excellent Cuban inspired menu with great atmosphere.
The original location of this small chain, in Ybor City, was opened in 1905 which is ancient by American standards so they are definitely getting something right!

We visit the 192 all the time for food, love Longhorns too, also Black Angus, TGI's, Kobe Japanese.
