Hi,
Some questions please help:)
I was looking at the point charts for DL....they looked kind of high. Is this for a regular hotel room....like I would trade in to the poly?

Are the size rooms like the CR or....WL?

When are the rooms for DVC supposed to be done...I'm thinking it might be worth it to wait to get an actual villa.
Are there any microwaves, coffee pot in room....does DL have a DDP?

What has been your experiences with a trade to DL...was it worth it for you.
Thanks
Kerri

Yes, a regular hotel room similar to what you would get if you traded into the Poly.

Haven't stayed in either of those resorts, but the room we had at DLH was quite large. Just as large (if not larger) than the rooms at the BC or YC which we have stayed in.

Can't help with the dates for the completion of the villas at the GC. No sales date has been announced yet AFAIK.

Other than the Tinkerbell & pixie dust wallpaper, I don't have much recall of the DLH room details (except that it was quite large, lol). I don't think there was a coffee pot. You will almost surely get lots of recent info on the rooms at the DLH, GC or PP if you asked your room specific questions on the Disneyland Forum.

I thought we received very good value for our points for our March 2006 stay. I would not say the same for a points stay at any of the non-DVC WDW resorts even before the $95 dollar fee.

Thanks for the response Carol:goodvibes

Is there a 95 fee to trade to DL:scared:
Thanks
Kerri

No--there is not a $95 fee (although one may be imposed once the Calif. villas open). The resort fee is also included on a points stay (but valet parking is not). It's been hit or miss for me as to whether a coffee pot was included in a room--but you can always call housekeeping and get one.

For the "points" I actually prefer the Paradise Pier to the DLH--the rooms are large and newer for the most part. GCH is my favorite, but it can get pricey and the rooms are smaller. But it is closer to the parks. So a trade off.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

I've stayed at both PPH and GCH, both were comparable to deluxe WDW resorts (GCH is more upscale). They had a daybed and refrigerator. I think a coffee maker too (I don't drink it). I paid 20 points a night weeknights at PPH in April, CA Adventure view. Considering the rooms are about $200 per night, it lines up with $10 a point. I stayed at GCH on a Friday night, it was 39 points, rack rate around $400. I thought it was worth it, both are convenient to everything.
